I just bought a new Subaru Forester Wilderness edition and wanted to personalize it a bit. The original lights were so dim, I didn't even know they were there. These are so much better and truly plug and play. I'm a 74 yr old woman who had extensive foot surgery 10 days ago and am only allowed up for 15 min every hour. I figured I would have to put one in and wait an hour to do the other side. But once I found the little indent on the narrow side of the original light and used the enclosed screwdriver to pop it out, and pop the new one in, I found I could do both car doors well within the allotted time. As it stands, the color is great, but I've read where it eventually disappeares to just a white design (which would be OK with me) , but for the price, if I decide I want the yellow back, I'll buy a new set. They replaced the damaged lights quickly. Second lights came in with no outside damage and both lights work great. The lights have a very crisp image. Installation was super easy, took me all of 5 minutes to install the door lights. A small jewelry screw driver comes with the lights to help with the installation, especially if you don't have one.
