The wallet looks good. The packaging is excellent. It is plastic wrapped gift box with a felt pocket inside containing the wallet additionally protected by a wrap of paper. Smell; it's not what I am used to from a leather wallet. It is kind of a chemical smell instead. There is a polyester liner in the currency pocket which may be bleeding the smell. I am a huge leather fan and love the smell. This is not that smell. The ID and card pockets are quite snug. This is a good thing with leather as it will loosen up with use. Overall, it is a nice wallet. If the smell dissipates it will be a really nice wallet.

A wallet is a very personal thing. I can explain what I liked and didn’t like about this wallet, but you will have to decide if it meets your needs. It is flawlessly made and has pockets for many different cards. An outside pocket is very handy for placing things like gift, library, or membership cards needed for an entry. A slot makes it easy to push them out for use. I’m not sure if RFID blocking is something to worry about, I suspect that it’s not much of a problem. However, the plates needed to block the RFID signals make the wallet very stiff. If you keep your wallet in a back pants pocket, you will definitely notice that this wallet is less flexible than you are used to. The pockets for things like health or insurance cards are 1/16 shorter than a standard credit card size. This makes the standard size cards stick out a little from their pockets but unfortunately not all cards are the size of a credit card. My doctor’s business cards are about 1/8 inch wider, my auto insurance card is about ¼ inch wider. These cards extend into the center of the wallet where it is folded and get dog eared. I haven’t found anything that would make me want to abandon this wallet so decide if it’s what you need.

Not long ago, my hubby told me he needs a new wallet. For the most part, he's a same-old, plain-old kind of guy, so I looked for one that resembled the one he's been using and this one fit the bill in slim size and color - but with the added feature of having RFID blocking (not a dealbreaker, but it's nice to have in this day and age). I must say I'm not exactly sure what "microfiber leather" is - to me, it doesn't quite have the feel of "real" leather - but he says it's pliable enough to suit him. Just about the only difference in this one and what he's been using, he told me, is that this one has one less slot for holding cards (again, not a dealbreaker; this one has a dozen, which seems plenty to me). And of course, there's a long opening to hold paper money and other similar-shaped goodies. All in all, he says it's not the best quality wallet he's ever had, but it's doable; more to the point, it's now stuffed full and stashed in his back pocket. Not a bad deal for the price.

There are two really cool features to this wallet. The first is the card slot on the outside front of the wallet. This is great for storing a most frequently used credit card. The second cool feature is the ID card slot. It has an opening in the window allowing a thumb to slide the ID out. The is way easier than trying to grab an edge of the ID to pull it out. This comes in handy when going through security frequently. The downside is that this wallet does not have a 2nd ID card slot.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now. I like most of it. It's a good size. Not too bulky but large enough to actually fit stuff in. It feels like it's decent quality and that it will last quite a while. The only thing I don't really like is the texture of the leather. Which isn't actually leather " Made from premium microfiber leather" I marked it down for the title of the review being very misleading.
