The texture was correct (smooth with little grain) The material was slightly stretchy and that helped greatly with fit and adhesion. We covered a leather desk chair. The one arm was torn completely through and the seat was very cracked with a couple of open tears. I ordered the 16" x 30" piece. We had enough to cover the one arm and the seat. It was sticky but slightly forgiving so we could mold the arm piece around the arm. I used an exact knife to cut the material to fit and tuck into the wood piece in front of the arm. Then I tucked and pushed the material behind the wood and it looked very good. No pictures, but I'm happy with this product!

Good color match and easy to stick on. Just be sure to measure beforehand. I covered the damage from seam to seam to make it look like a solid panel not a patch. Would order again. It’s been 2 months and still on solid. No peeling.

This patch kit arrived quickly and was easy to apply. It sticks very well but the leather surface wore off in about 2 months. We use this couch a lot and the patch did not hold up well.

I used this tape (Black) to repair an inexpensive office chair. The area at the thread seams was tearing loose. The tape adhesion thus far has held up very well. The material looks to be rather thick. Can't speak yet for durability aspect given the short time it has been applied. I noticed the opposite side of chair seam was showing signs of weakness so I applied a strip of tape there as well. So there are two areas to evaluate now. I will update the review for durability later after some months of wear and tear. Black color matched this chair rather well.

I ordered dark brown but it would’ve been better if it was a little darker. It depends on what angle you’re looking from but the color difference is not as noticeable. As long as it sticks and will last for a long time, I’m happy with the product.
