I used this on my g29 sim and it fit well with an adapter. It is a good and fun little addition but I would not recommend using this on an actual car. It just isn’t made well enough for actual automotive use. Absolutely great for sim set ups though!

This release is surprisingly nice! It seems solidly built and locks up nice and tight. It's literally just a clone of an NRG unit. Mine did come with a few blemishes/scratches in the finish, but for $30 I'm not complaining. I paired it with an NRG short hub, NRG deep dish wheel and mounted it in my GF4 Impreza. I did have to change one horn wire on the NRG hub to work with the release (changed female connector to male). I also had to modify my horn button slightly by cutting off the little plastic nubs underneath it to allow it to fit flush in the release/wheel. (If you're not completely helpless, you can make it work) This release even comes with a removable aluminum sleeve to help with horn button fitment so you dont need to use the bolt on style ring that usually comes with the wheel! My only complaint is that the bolt holes on the hub side of the release aren't aligned fully with the bolt holes on the wheel side. So my wheel is not totally straight. Which is not THAT big of a deal but I will have to redo my alignment to make it perfect. So if you're thinking of getting a quick release for your car, but not sure if you want to spend the money on the NRG piece just yet, definitely try this one. Make sure all 12 holes are threaded in, the first one they sent me only 6/12 holes were threaded and I had to get a replacement

Nothing not to like about it so far. Haven't actually installed it on the car yet, Put everything together as it would go on the steering column, everything seems perfect. I installed this combo on an 88 mustang, the only other thing I use was the grant install kit to go from three hole to six hole.

The ball joints within the quick release don’t seem to sit in the grooves very snug and has a slight bit of play in the overall feel of the wheel
