Pretty good deal for the price, great for random doodling without wasting paper. Comes in a felt envelope to help protect the screen; the pen snaps nicely into the top so you don't lose it while not in use. Pen tip feels about like a medium point tip marker, it actually worked really well for sketching out some calligraphy and logo ideas. Writing is a fun rainbow hue. Lock button works as intended. Overall I like the size, weight, design, color, pen storage, and the lock feature. The main issue I have with it is that your writing is not very light/bright against the black background. Some of the areas are better as the color changes throughout but some of the areas are a bit harder to read. For comparison we used to have a similar style pad (brand name) and I was able to draw finer lines and it was easier to read (writing was brighter). But for the price you can't beat this. Great for little kids to scribble, practice writing, doodle... I use mine for my daily to do list so I'm not using up tons of scraps of paper each week ... show more
