I looked at the reviews for a *lot* of hammocks before settling on this one. My husband was set on the quilted style, and we wanted the double width so we could both use it at the same time. This hammock is great! It easily accommodates both my husband and myself and allows for some great relaxation time. It is also very easy to clean-- which is great for us, because we have our hammock underneath a willow tree, so plenty of birds add their mark to it. We rinse it off with the hose and it dries quickly! The color has not run and is still a deep shade of navy blue. The pillow isn't very wide, so you have to be up at the top of the hammock by the spreader bar if you want to use it. It doesn't fit your entire head, which is my only complaint. It's really not necessary though-- the hammock is comfy enough! I'm new at reviewing and looking for feedback - please use the thumbs up if you found this useful. :) ... show more

Great hammock! Truly, we love it! It's attractive, comfortable, and strong. My wife and I have used it together (which just breaks the weight limit on this) and no problems. It's decent quality and we are very happy with our purchase. One negative......... it doesn't hold up well when a lawnmower blade goes over it. heh heh.... Nice hammock! One thing to add for those who have never purchased a hammock before (which was the case for us)... After we purchased this one, we also purchased a more traditional-style hammock; the kind that wraps around you like a cocoon. I wanted to compare the two... First of all, the wide-style of hammock (like this LazyDaze one I'm reviewing) is probably better suited for a traditional backyard enhancement, especially if you expect that friends or neighbors will be over and want to try it out. It's much easier to get in and out of and use generally... and it's comfortable and more attractive, to be sure, compared to a classic cocoon-style hammock... The cocoon style (in contrast) is slightly more difficult or awkward to get into (especially if two people are attempting the task) and getting out takes considerably more effort as well... That having been said, the cocoon style was (in this writer's opinion) far more comfortable and safer (once inside). With the wide style (i.e. LazyDaze), despite its ease of use, you pretty much have to stay in the middle of the hammock or you can fall out. With the cocoon style, once you're in, you're not going anywhere. You can easily swing back and forth and relax and it's great. My wife and I took a LONG afternoon nap in the cocoon style hammock and slept like a baby! It was great! Getting out had us both giggling because it was a little more complicated (hahaha). If I was going camping or just wanted to relax in ultimate comfort on a regular basis, I'd likely go for the cocoon style hammock. But for general back yard use, this wide LazyDaze hammock is perfect! We love it and we use it often enough. Even our little dog jumps up and it's funny to watch her try to keep her balance, but once she settles down she loves it. This hammock has a thin insulating fluff between the layers, which (I presume) gives a little extra comfort and protection from wind to keep your backside warm but not too warm. It's fine for general outside use in DRY weather, BUT be warned, it does soak up the water so if you have sprinklers going off daily or rain coming down, it takes a while to dry out. Even after a hot 90+ degree day, I plopped into the hammock and soaked up a ton of water into my pants and shirt that were still trapped in the hammock. Best to take it in at night in my opinion. But as for holding up under water abuse, it does fine... just know you'll need to use a towel to soak it up before getting in when wet. Totally worth the very affordable price. In fact, I'm going to buy another.... because I wasn't kidding about the lawnmower (hehehe). I did run over the hammock while mowing the lawn. It was folded up to the side so that it would be out of my way, but I guess I'm blind or something because I found it. hahaha... Anyway, it actually still works perfect, just not as pretty as it used to be. Go get one, you'll love it! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was really excited about this hammock after seeing how large it was in person. I am a little disappointed overall in this product & glad I caught it on sale at $40ish verses paying the now asking price. This hammock doesnt appear to hold up outdoors at all. The cloth itself seems to hold water; not water resistant. The wood is a very low quality and isnt treated at all. After just a few days of setting this up with a bit of FL rain the wood has already started to show its worth. This hammock is only for an outdoor covered patio or to be used indoors. After the wood gives out, we will replace it on our own with a quality treated version. ... show more

Let’s start with the negative: I live in Florida and couldn’t wait to use my new hammock. It says in the description that the hammock is durable and water resistant, but this is not true! It rains A LOT in Florida in the Summer, and if this Hammock even gets a little bit wet, it’s game over. There are huge rust colored water stains on my beautiful cream hammock from being in the rain ONCE. And once the hammock is wet, it stays wet for about two to three days because the water soaks into the cushioning. I’ve tried towels, hair dryers, wringing it out with my hands, but it Is still wet. I am a little disappointed especially with how much I paid for this hammock. Now I have to make sure I check the weather every day and take the hammock down when there is a slight rain chance because I don’t want to have to replace this brand new hammock. As for the positives: when it’s dry, this hammock is the most comfortable and relaxing experience ever! There is no place I would rather be than laying in my hammock. It is the best way to decompress after a long day, or it’s awesome for relaxing on the weekends. I love this hammock but it is a little disappointing that I have to keep it on my porch more often than I can leave it hanging in the yard. This would make a perfect indoor hammock if you had the space! ... show more

Bought this to go with a stand I'd gotten at a hardware store. This hammock is very comfortable, especially for the price. I don't think that the durability is top notch; there's always a saggy spot in the center. I never leave it out overnight, so it's held up really well so far. It's comfortable and can easily fit 2 (or maybe 1 and a big dog, which is why I bought it. Dog would get stuck in a net-style hammock). That said, if two people were in there, they would need to make the included pillow a little longer. This was easy to hang and adjust because of the included chain on either side. ... show more
