This is an excellent quality durable wallet. If it had a Dooney and Bourke label on it, the cost would be much more. The quality and thickness of the pebble leather, and construction of the wallet is just as good as Dooney and Bourke's. That is no exaggeration. It's stitched well. The coin zipper is sturdy. With the exception of holding a checkbook, this is a fully functional compact wallet. There are 4 slots for credit cards. A driver license/ID display compartment, coin compartment, 2 inside compartments and a compartment to hold dollars and several of them. The cards fit in and out of the compartment slots with ease, and the slots are the right height to identify the cards. Your Drivers License/ID is right there when you open your wallet. It easily holds a couple of dollars in coins. I really love this wallet. When you open it everything is right there in the palm of my hand. It's really easy to put everything back when shopping...you know, instead of tossing your credit card anywhere in the wallet or pocket after checking out at the grocery store....and later have to search for it in a mild panic. I purchased the one without the flap and it snaps together securely when fully loaded with cash and cards. It closed securely with all the cards slots filled, 23 bills(I had just made a ATM withdrawal), and a lot of coins. It's just a little larger than an index card. The colors are exactly as shown. It arrives in a beautiful quality black box that represents the beautiful quality of the wallet. I purchased for myself to use with small handbags, but I'd be pleased to give this as a gift, too. My expectations were exceeded. It's definitely worth more than the asking price. Thanks, Dante. UPDATE; I wrote this review for the red. I've since purchased the tan and purple colors. The purple color is as photographed. The tan is a little darker. The quality is different. Not as good. The leather feels just a little thinner and not as soft, especially in the tan color. I was looking for a small wallet with a unique look and this is exactly what I had in mind. This wallet holds everything I need and even has a cash sleeve of the correct size! All while folding down very small and slim. It is unique and highly identifiable in a classy way. It snaps shut easily and opens with ease while staying closed until you open it. No extra BS, but also didn't forget anything! Their is even room for a bit of change. I worried I was shorted on that, until I needed to use the little change pocket. This wallet is very well made. It's also very pretty. The card slots hold the cards in but are not super tight. I was able to fit a couple of cards into each slot. The snap is very strong. I tend to toss my wallet back into my bag. It does not pop open when I do that. The black does make it look like I'm carrying a tiny Bible. Which is fine, but I kinda wish I'd have gotten a prettier color. However my last wallet from the brand lasted for 4 years, and really it only gave out because I shoved so many cards into each slot. So it may be a while before I have reason to buy another, lol! I would definitely recommend this wallet to anybody! ... show more

I wanted a small wallet, and I got it! I would give it 4.5 stars. First the good news: it appears to be well made, and the color is beautiful. The stitching is even, and the zipper for the coin pocket works easily. The space for paper money is adequate - I have about 10 bills in there, and the wallet still closes. There is an area with see through window for driver license, and slots for 5 credit cards or insurance cards that can be pulled out easily enough.. I could fit 2 cards in one slot if necessary, but that makes them harder to pull out. Now the not so good: the see through window for driver license has the snap (to keep wallet closed) in an awkward spot, covering an important area on license. I am way past the age where I need to show my DL to prove I am 21, but younger folks could find this a hassle. No matter which way you put your DL in, either the date of birth or DL number is partially hidden. The forementioned coin pocket is miniscule, and it doesn’t open enough to see what coins are in there - and getting them out is a chore. I did notice a slight “crinkling” sound when opening the wallet, as another review mentions. I didn’t find the noise bothersome, and probably wouldn’t have noticed it if I hadn’t read that review. If you want a small, well made wallet to fit easily in a tiny purse or pocket, this is a great choice. If you carry a lot of coins, or if having lots of credit cards is important to you, there are probably better options. After looking at dozens of wallets and hundreds of reviews, I am convinced that this one offers the most bang for the buck. If there is a small women’s wallet that is perfect, I haven’t found it. UPDATE AFTER ALMOST 2 YEARS OF CONSTANT USE: Still going strong, still looks almost new, no further problems with the zipper. This is a GREAT wallet! I now have no doubts that it's leather. UPDATE AFTER 6 MONTHS OF USE. I've updated my review from 4 to 5 stars because the wallet still looks practically new and the zipper works fine with occasional lubrication with a pencil. I'm very happy with this wallet. UPDATE AFTER 6 WEEKS OF USE. The zipper started sticking after a couple of weeks. I lubricate it just by running a soft pencil over it. Powdered graphite would work also. Lubrication solves the sticking problem for a while. I still like the wallet. This review is of the STYLE 1 wallet with the zipper, not the style 2 envelope wallet. I bought this wallet to replace this Funtour wallet: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WHX73GH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 The zipper on the Funtour broke after 3 months, so my main concern was to find a wallet with a change pocket with a good zipper. I chose the Lavemi over others because if the zipper breaks, it might be repairable or replaceable because the end of the zipper is exposed rather than sewn under the leather as on the Funtour. I bought the Lavemi in dark red. The color in the photo is accurate and this is a very attractive wallet. IS THIS WALLET REAL LEATHER? It came with a small sample piece of leather dyed the same color as the wallet, hinting that the wallet is genuine leather; however, the sample leather piece is NOT what the wallet is actually made of. The wallet material is very thin and is black on one side and red on the other. The sample piece is much thicker and red on both sides. It's hard to tell if very thin leather is real because you can't see the edge very well. But I have no reason to believe it's not leather, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. PROS: Easy to slip bills in and out because the leather is flexible and the lining is slippery. Easy to get change in and out of the pocket---if you press on the edges of the change pocket it opens quite wide. The pocket is large enough to fit something like a house key. Zipper works well and appears to be better quality than the Funtour. It slides back and forth smoothly. Cards go in and out OK, though the pockets are a little tight.. I really like the decorative star cutouts. The gold you see in the stars is the RFID material. CONS: I don't really like the gold color of the RFID material. The corners of the wallet are angular rather than rounded. This makes it a tiny bit harder to put the wallet in your pocket. The Funtour has nicer rounded corners. I don't like how the zipper extends above the leather sides of the wallet. These are all minor criticisms. By the way, the Funtour and the Lavemi are exactly the same size except for the zipper protruding above the leather on the Lavemi. All in all, I recommend the Lavemi over the Funtour because of the zipper problem. Otherwise the Funtour is a nice wallet. ... show more

I Haven been looking for a wallet that has six slots and it is not bulky & fat which takes up too much room in the purse.
