This product is a pretty standard file holder, that is easily assembled and stays together through tension. I do think that this particular file holder is not bad, but as I have seen other reviews mentioned, it may be best suited to be used sitting on an office desk, as the hanging hooks are a tad small for wall partitions/ cubicle partitions. I generally think that easy assembly is a great pro for a product like this, and it is, but I also think the design make it feel a tad flimsy since the shelf components are a bit thinner. If it is hanging on a wall, I would not recommend putting especially heavy things on the bottom shelf as the whole thing is held together with tension for the most part. ... show more

Installation was easy and quick, without the need to screw or glue anything in. Even the over the door hangers simply slide in and up to support hanging. This can be easily taken apart and stored flat, if needed. I am actually hanging this on the side of a wire shelving unit and it fits and functions perfectly for my needs. I purchased this to match a second file organizer (identical to this one) for another shelving unit, as it has surprisingly been more handy than I expected. It looks clean and attractive. I love it. The metal frame is sturdy. The files/folders are easy to see (sitting at my desk, it’s just a head tilt up to see them all). I didn’t use the door hanging rods (though that’s a great option). I also didn’t mount it to the wall. I was a little worried about it’s stability on its own but, it seems fine sitting on my desk. And the little opening at the base is a great spot for flash drives and gadgets. This is a great innovation to standard, flat organizers. Side note: There are other vendors selling identical units under different brand names. At the time of ordering, this vendor was offering the lowest-price. ... show more

I have different forms at work that I need to organize for easy retrieve. This filer is fine for the price. Pros: Easy to assemble, no tool needed Stand fine as a desktop filer Bottom tray is nice to store little stuff such as stapler, post-in Category tag of each insert slot Cons: The hanging hooks are too short/small that won't be able to hang on office partition Instructions are vague (but it is not difficult to figure out how to assemble) The material is not very sturdy This filer would work better to place on desktop than hanging on partition. Maybe it fits better for home use (at least I believe that it can fit to hang on a door). ... show more

When I received the box from Amazon, I was surprised it was so flat. I didn't realize I would be assembling the organizer - but it was so easy! No tools needed! Just your hands! When I opened it up and saw all the pieces, I looked at the design, and without seeing the instructions it was all easy to assemble. Very visually self explanatory. Just remember - Black Tabs (for labeling what each bin is for) on the outside! Slide each divider into it's place and this is ready to go in less than 5 minutes! I had no problems assembling this at all. All the pieces fit and none were warped or broken. Everything clicks into place quickly. I'm quite impressed at how much space and shipping cost was saved with this design. I've seen this sort of design in bookshelves, but never a filing organizer.
