Oh my gawd! (Eyes roll to back of head) This perfume smells amazing! It's not overly strong, but subtle and yet still noticibly there. I bought vanilla sugarcane, and you definitely smell the sweetness of the sugar cane but it blends beautifully with the mandarin and vanilla flower. Once it starts to warm up in your skin you get these wifs of the warm vanilla. I usually use Pacifica, Island Vanilla, and I've literally been stopped and told I smell like cupcakes when I use it. This is different in a good way. It's more flowery and warm. More ooh la la! Then yummm. As for my sensitive skin, if I apply certain perfumes or scented products (soaps, lotions etc.) I either break out in hives. Or once the product touches my skin I get a slight burning to stinging sensation. This did neither of those. (thank god, cuz I forgot to spot test it.) Now I haven't checked to see how long this product lasts, but so far so good. It just has this warm smell and sensation. I absolutely love it!

Smells WONDERFUL, but is very subtle, which you may or may not be pleased about. Fragrance doesn't last long on me, but it's also very hot and dry where I live. I CAN smell it slightly after a few hours, not sure if other people do. But that's probably good, as it won't bother people with sensitive noses.

Most perfumes give me a headache. This is one of the first that does not. I like it. However, it smells very vanilla with very little grapefruit. And the small grapefruit part fades so that remainder is vanilla/caramel smell.

I’ve been using this perfume since ~2008. It’s the only one that doesn’t make me cringe at the idea of smelling like it all day. I loved it because I could smell vanilla and citrus no hidden “notes” that my nose could pick up as surprises throughout the day. Well I just opened this bottle and yes vanilla and grapefruit but also some flower scent. I rolled some in my wrists before realizing and it’s been about 30 minutes and I’m going to need to take a shower to get it off. I’m going to have to give it as a gift or something. Don’t get me wrong it’s a pleasant smell but it now has other smells besides vanilla and grapefruit. I detest floral notes which is why I was a lavanila fan. Well as it turns out mixing vanilla and citrus essential oils isn’t too complicated so I guess I’ll be doing that.

I was hesitant to buy fragrance online, but fell in love with this scent and wear it every day. The roller ball is perfect for me because I feel like I have more control over how much I apply. Spray fragrance is sometimes way too much for me! I only wish I could smell the grapefruit citurs a little more. The vanilla scent is definitely predominant with cedarwood following behind it. Just a note for those considering this fragrance because it surprised me a little at first, but I really love it now!

I am 72 years old. Perfume has always been a little hard for me to wear. I love sweet, fresh airy, citrus smells. I like light perfume. This perfume was just awful for me. It is dark with no grapefruit at all. I could not even smell vanilla. It had a deep spicy smell. It even smelled a little like urine. It smelled like the old Avon perfumes from the 70's and 80's. I am wearing the Philosophy perfumes right now, and I like them, but something new is always fun. I used to wear a lovely, wonderful grapefruit perfume from a boutique shop in Sun Valley, Idaho. It was French, but I can not get it any more. I guess each nose may be a little different. This was not for me!
