  • Great for travel!
Bought this for travel, it has been a great travel all-in-one minimalistic makeup kit

  • Pretty and convenient but not ideal for lighter complexions
Let’s take a look at this Laura Geller palette! Pros: The box is pretty. The lid is decorated with watercolored blue and white hydrangeas. Everything comes well packaged. When you open the box, there is a rigid plastic shield holding the products in place and protecting them. The colors overall are flattering and very versatile. They lean slightly warm but are pretty neutral. The powders are smooth and the eyeshadows blend easily. Cons: The French Vanilla highlighter is too dark and yellow for me. On my skin it looks like a badly matched foundation or a jaundiced bronzer. The Pink Buttercream blush is by far the most pigmented product in the palette. Thats not necessarily a bad thing but be aware! It’s very easy to overdo this blush and once it’s on it wants to stay put. I’m not impressed by the lip gloss. It’s too sheer to offer any color on the lips and the texture is only average. It’s not the worst lip gloss I’ve ever used but it’s nothing I’d care to use again. This palette could be great for someone with a light/medium complexion who doesn’t mind the so-so lipgloss. As it is, it’s not for me. ... show more

  • Better for trial sizes than travel.
This is a palette from Laura Geller with several shimmery, baked powders and a lipgloss. While labelled as a travel kit for when you are "on the run", I didn't think it was very portable for travel or toting in a purse. However, the products are good quality so this is still a positive review. ♤ Travel: This product was too fragile and bulky for travelling. If I were judging it solely as a travel palette it would only get 3 stars. The products are domed, baked powders. The large blush and highlighter domes had already come loose on arrival. They seem to have been glued to the cardboard underlayer because there were cardboard pieces stuck to the bottom. These baked powders are too heavy for a loose cardboard casing. The plastic insert is necessary to keep them in place. The case is a large, bulky box with a lot of empty space inside. It isn't compact. This box is bigger and thicker than an average face palette or eyeshadow palette. ♡ Use: While I didn't like this as a travel case I do like it as a coordinated makeup set for a vanity. So long as it is lying flat the domed powders will be stable. The blue hydrangea themed case is pretty and has a nice mirror. The colors are a good trial size if you want to try out Laura Geller makeup. All of the shades create a coordinated look. I would recommend this set to people who want to try a full face of Laura Geller makeup without investing in multiple, full sized products. For a minimalist, who only wears makeup a few days a week, this kit would be all they need for several months. ◇ Shades: This shade selection would be best for people with a light to medium complexion. The shades are neutral but lean slightly warm. I am over 50 so I am the target audience for this product though it could work for anyone who wants rosy, light makeup. The baked powders have a subtle glow. They are best applied lightly because the iridescence can look greasy if you pack them on. This shade selection works best as light, glowy makeup as opposed to creating strong, statement looks. The Pink Buttercream blush is the shade I would be most likely to repurchase. It's a universally flattering medium pink with threads of bronze shimmer. The vanilla highlighter was a bit dark for use as a highlighter on fair skin but I liked it as a mixer shade to adjust the blush. The eyeshadows have two mattes and one deep, shimmery, raisin shade. I usually use the deep shade as liner. It's possible to use it to create a smokey eye and that makes this palette more versatile as you could create an evening look if needed. The lip gloss is a very subtle, sheer, rosy color that has less pigment than the description images suggest. It's sticky and it wasn't my favorite lipgloss formula because I have sensory issues with lip products. However, the stickiness gave it great longevity. It lasted several hours even while drinking iced coffee. If you want a gloss you don't need to reapply frequently then you might like this. ... show more

  • Super convenient for travel and colors compliment my light complexion
Pros: I really like all the colors and shades chosen in this LAURA GELLER NEW YORK Glam on the Run palette because they go so well with my light complexion and actually line up nicely with my bright winter seasonal palette. My first step is brushing the warm tan shade, Sunstone, all over my lid just to add some depth, and as my skin has matured I have noticed I need to blend a bit higher into my crease to really see that color show up. It also doubles as a great priming step since it pats down and mattes the lid in a way that lets me layer other eyeshadows on top without them slipping around. Next I take Raisin, which is a shimmery brown, and work it into my crease and just above my eyelid so it accentuates the natural pocket of my eye, then I use Terrosa mostly on my inner corners to brighten things up, though sometimes I will sweep a little onto my lids first as an extra priming layer before Sunstone. I appreciate that LAURA GELLER NEW YORK labels every shade right on the palette so I always know which one is the eyeshadow, the blush, or the highlighter without guessing. For blush I sweep it across my cheeks and it comes out as a soft, buildable pink that actually coordinates really well with the lip glaze, which is also a soft neutral pink. Then I dust the French Vanilla highlighter over the tops of my cheeks just under my brow bone, on my Cupid's bow, and lightly on the tip of my nose, right where I want light to naturally catch and add some dimension. The lip gloss finishes the look and works with a lot of different makeup styles since it feels so natural. What I love most about LAURA GELLER NEW YORK shades in general is how flattering and easy they are on mature skin, and I also love that this comes in their signature domed compact format rather than a flat rectangular one, since I have never had a LAURA GELLER NEW YORK palette crack or break the way flatter compacts have on me before. The floral design on the front is really pretty too, which makes it feel extra special for travel. I also keep the plastic cover for extra protection! Don’t throw that out. Cons: The one thing I wish this LAURA GELLER NEW YORK palette included is some kind of lip liner, since the lip glaze on its own is just a light sheer pink without any definition around the lips. Because the eyeshadow and highlighter shades are baked and meant to blend seamlessly, some of the color payoff is more subtle than a matte formula, so building visible depth on the lid takes a couple of extra passes rather than one swipe. The domed compact shape that protects the product so well also means it takes up a little more room in a makeup bag compared to a slim flat compact, which is worth knowing if you are trying to pack as light as possible for travel. ... show more

  • Beautiful colors with that Geller-high quality
I’m reviewing the Laura Geller New York Glam on the Run Face, Eye, and Lip Travel Makeup Palette, which includes Baked Eyeshadows, Blush, Highlighter, and Lip Glaze. It’s an all-in-one makeup kit designed for mature skin and on-the-go beauty. I’ve been using several Geller makeup products for a while now, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them. I appreciate a makeup line that caters to women of a certain age. Not everything should be “one size fits all,” especially when it comes to makeup. When you have dark circles, fine lines, dryness, and hyperpigmentation, makeup meant for twenty-year-olds just doesn’t look as flattering on your skin anymore. If you have any of these issues and haven’t tried Laura Geller makeup products, I highly recommend giving them a try! I’m 54 years old and definitely have the 11’s (the two lines between your eyes), mostly due to being a photographer and writer with not the best eyesight. Over the years, I’ve squinted a lot, which has contributed to those lines. I also have pronounced pores. And, I have had dark circles that have been an issue since I was a teenager. I’ve had this travel set in light for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve been enjoying it not for travel, but just for getting ready and then taking it with me in my bag. What I like most about Geller’s makeup is that it’s infused with extra hydration and is lightweight on the skin. It doesn’t sit heavy on the skin, which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores. Our skin needs that! The palette itself is beautifully floral in one of my favorite colors, purple. When you open it up, you’ll find a generously sized mirror. Inside, you’ll receive a highlighter, blush, three eyeshadows, and a lip gloss. As always, before wearing any makeup, I make sure my skin is nice and hydrated. The first thing I do is use a good hydrating serum, usually with hyaluronic acid. If I’m wearing foundation, I also move on to a primer. Laura Geller’s eyeshadow palette comes in three beautiful shades: Sunstone, Terrosa, and Raisin. Raisin is a darker shade than I would not usually wear, but it’s still stunning. All the shades are gorgeous, and I love that there’s no guessing involved. They’re meant to be applied together, and they look even more beautiful when used together. They stay put all day long. The blush is a lovely shade called Pink Buttercream. It would likely complement almost any skin tone. I’m pretty fair, but if I use a light amount, it’s flattering for a night out, especially when blended with the highlighter on my cheekbones. The highlighter is a French Vanilla shade. I really like the sheen it gives. The lip gloss is a great option to use separately or over a lip stain or stick. It gives a flattering pink gloss that lasts a long time. It feels hydrating on the lips, and the applicator makes it easy to use. This palette is a great way to achieve a put-together look from Laura Geller or to sample a few of her products in just one purchase. It would also make an amazing gift. The sizes are generous too! At the time of my review, in July 2026, the cost of this palette is $35.00. I find this to be a great price for a palette from Laura Geller. Lastly, this makeup is suitable for women of all ages. It’s high-quality makeup. ... show more

  • Really disappointed
I was looking for an overall easy all in one makeup kit, and a travel on the run kit, I would assume would contain the basics. Instead, there are three eye shadows, a blush, a highlighter and a lip gloss. The who thing is drying which is horrible for mature skin. The blush is this weird bright pink, the lip gloss is drying, and the highlighter does nothing. For the price, I would expect better. ... show more
