This is the most surprising blind buy I’ve done. I have many Lataffa colognes and perfumes in my household and they consistently deliver quality fragrances. That being said, this one was totally different. The bottle is gorgeous. It stands out on my counter like no other. Other commenters say this thing needs to breathe, they are not kidding. The first sprays were cloyingly artificial banana and the dry down was overwhelmingly smoky wood. I did not like it at all. I let it breathe for almost two weeks and tried again. This time, the banana was more subtle, more creamy and the dry down was a softer, warm woody base with a creamy vanilla undertone. This was much better. I have found pairing it with Hempz Original Body Oil Banana Flower scent makes it a fresh banana combo that lasts all day. You really have to love Laffy Taffy Banana to do this combo because you will smell like it all day. This is like a grown up gourmand perfume that is much more complex than described. Personally, I absolutely love it and it is a perfect summer scent that I get complimented on whenever I wear it. Another winner from Lataffa!

It's been a minute since I'd gotten on here to write a review, but I had to fit this review into my schedule just to rave about this product. To preface, I absolutely love Lattafa fragrances. In fact, I would go as far as to say that they are the most, if not the closest, affordable and trustworthy Arabic brand sold in America. Lattafa Victoria, Yara and Angham are some of my favorite scents from their catalog, but this fragrance, alike, is nowhere shy of their best. Lattafa Eclaire Banoffi is a variant of the Eclaire collection that invites a top note of banana cream pie with a nutty, sweet and musky dry-down. I've found that this scent is very musky, fruity and sweet. I also know that many banana fragrances can smell cheap or plastic-like, but I think Banoffi mimics the sweetness of a warmed banana cream pie almost perfectly. I also adore the bottle design, as it is sturdy without being too heavy. The Banoffi design itself is one of the cutest trinket-like accessories for your room and personally gives me a sense of nostolgia to the sweetness and vibrance of my childhood. The projection of the atomizer on the Banoffi bottle is also moderately strong and not stringy whatsoever. You'll only need a few good sprays on your neck, behind the ears, etc, and you should be set for at least 4-6 hours in the day. Like most Lattafa fragrances, Banoffi tends to project well and is moderately strong; however, if you ever want more, the fragrance is affordable enough to spray more than you would with a designer fragrance from your collection. Amazon is your best bet when purchasing this product. If you are considering purchasing, I would highly advise against purchasing outside of Amazon, as you'll probably get the best and most convenient deal here than anywhere else.

Lattafa Eclaire is one of my favorites, so I was really interested in its flankers. Banoffi doesn't remind me of Eclaire too much, although they're both lovely vanilla gourmand fragrances. The banana is strong on me, and it lasts 8+ hours on my skin. It starts off very artificial on the initial spray, reminding me of Banana Laffy Taffy candy, but it quickly starts to become creamier and more natural smelling. It's like banana pudding with sliced bananas, nilla wafers, and lots of whipped cream. It stays a pretty even mix of banana and vanilla tones on me throughout the day. Longevity and projection are great. A couple sprays give noticeable throw all day. The bottle is a large size, heavy and beautifully packaged. I recommend if you like the idea of smelling like a banana cream pie.

Very candy-like but not quite as sweet as Laffy Taffy. If you're going for synthetic banana, this is pretty good. Decent lasting power, good value for the money. Nothing so far beats Kayali's Maui in a Bottle, but that one has stronger floral notes.

Omg! This fragrance smells FANTASTIC! ITS BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYTHING I IMAGINED IT TO BE!! I will be layering this with vanilla body mist and vanilla lotion in winter and fruity floral in summer! I am super impressed! The longevity is 6 plus hours, the smells is amazingly sophisticated yet warm and sensual and young! So happy! The spray is great too!

I’ve been obsessed in learning more about this fragrance before I got it. I inquired how the scent was going to appear to me so I kept reading online reviews over this fragrance nonstop. And to my surprise, I got the fragrance a day before expected (YAY). So here’s what I got to share about this fragrance as someone who is a fragrance enthusiast: Fragrance Appearance: The bottle design is very beautiful. A+ for that, very unique. Love the gold and the syrup-drizzling design on the bottle. However, the “A” in “eclaire” came in a bit blurred off and a small bottom part of the fragrance came chipped off. How sad. This is a common occurrence for fragrance bottles that are covered in a sort of wrapping, but the chipping tends to occur after usage due to wear and tear (which comes with time). So the fact that it came like this out the womb made me want to drop a star, but I ended up not doing that because of its smell. Fragrance Smell (what we’re all wondering): The top note does appear to smell like a sharp vanilla and a soft banana laffy taffy smell combined together when sprayed on fabric. I can smell some nuttiness and a hint of chocolate too, which I enjoy. The power of the scent is quite strong. The more you spray, the stronger it becomes, so beware. When I sprayed it on myself, the banana note became more noticeable but did end up disappearing and melting into the nuttiness and vanilla part of the fragrance. The fragrance as a whole does not smell edible, but instead something sensually sweet and gorgeous to which is wearable and not overwhelming when sprayed according to your own tolerance of smelling strength. I’ve heard so many good things about Lattafa and have a couple of their fragrances that are my fav. And so far, as a person who bought this as a blind buy, I am SO THRILLED and SATISFIED with myself that I trusted my instinct in getting this fragrance. Thus, I definitely do recommend this fragrance if you are into gourmand (sweet) fragrances. My fragrance rating would be 4.9/5 (-0.1 due to the chipping of the bottle). WOW! I ended up loving this scent even more than I thought I would. It was a total blind-buy but I have the original Lattafa Eclaire and I adore it (it is absolutely my go-to for fall and winter), and Banoffi feels like the same family without being a twin. It opens with a delicious and creamy banana, then settles into a creamy vanilla with a hint of the spice from the original Eclaire. It lasts a surprisingly long time for a fruitier scent, and the projection is impressive as well. The bottle is as beautiful as the original, and the atomizer gives a perfect broad spray. I like to layer it with Lattafa Nebras Elixir to add another layer of creamy sweetness, or sometimes for a more summery vibe I layer with Dossier's Aquatic Coconut which goes so well together. Overall I am so glad I bought this, and plan to get another when I run out!

Okay, this may be a little niche, but i think this smells absolutely magnificent. The atomizer sprays a healthy amount, and the scent hits you almost automatically. The best way I can describe how the scent starts out - this is a weird one, but being a fan of this really helps - it smells like a banana Laffy Taffy. VERY sweet, but definitely something I'd love to rep to just about any sort of event!
