I highly recommend this swab. It’s like a little massager for my ear. It’s meant to clean the ear of wax and that it does. After your bath the wax softens and it’s a perfect time to grab your swab, with the textured tips it gently scrapes the wax. A regular swab flattens and spreads the wax, but this swab acts like a broom in your ear. Once, my ear air dries, I grab my clean swab again and clean out the loosened wax. It’s truly fantastic! There’s one Con on this product, it is not absorbent. Wishlist or recommendation for The Last Swab, is to consider making the stick a little thicker for longevity reasons. Really the absorption is not an issue, it’s a matter of adapting. There are so many positives in this Last Swab. Thank you 🙏🏼

Bought this on a whim unsure if I’d elect for this to be the daily driver and replace single use swabs or use it while traveling. The nubby texture makes me feel like I’m scratching an itch that I can’t otherwise get to, and I enjoy it. The texture also makes it easier to clean, just rub the old wax off and sanitize. Now that I own one, I won’t be going back to single use cotton swabs for routine use. This is just better. I deducted a star for the feel, fit, and finish. While I haven’t broke or damaged it, the swab’s shaft has an overly 3D printed vibe, is flexible in a way that I feel is less durable (perhaps I’m wrong and this flexibility is intentional), and I cannot help but worry that I’m going to lose a tip down the sink drain while cleaning it. Moreover, I don’t believe the individual parts are sold for replacement, meaning you have to buy a new unit if you break it or lose a piece. They do sell a complete replacement swab assembly so you can reuse the case, but the SKU sold on Amazon has both the beauty and ear versions of the swab, which is useless and wasteful to those who ain’t purdy. Love the sustainable packaging and environmental mission. Will look into other products from Last Object in the future.

NOTE: The swab tips are not absorbent, if that's what you're needing. That said -- The silicone swab tips are wonderful and should last almost forever!!! On the other hand, case hinge is very fragile. I ordered one...case hinge was broken. I requested a replacement...the hinge was broken on it as well!

I was looking for a way to cut down on costs and help reduce waste. This product is wonderful. It functions very similarly to a cotton swab. Is easily rinsed to clean. Works best after flushing ears with warm water.

I really wanted this product to work. The idea is great but in reality it doesn't work. This just doesn't clean well and it feels weird on your ear. The main issue is that you can only use this when your ears are dry. If you tend to use qtips after you shower, this won't work because you ears are wet and this silicone qtip won't absorb any water and thus not clean your ear. 10$ for a piece of plastic is a rip off but I was willing to give it a try to stop using disposable qtips.

Well I’m a weirdo and I frequently get an itch in my inner ear and I can’t quite reach it with my fingers. Also my nails will cut my skin. I bought this to help reach the itch and let me tell ya, it works great!! I actually started using it as a cotton swab replacement and it works surprisingly well for cleaning the ears. However it needs to be cleaned regularly which is kind of a pain.
