The plastic has an insulation that preserves the heat or cold of the water so the temperature remains constant longer than a blow up. The only bad thing is that the tub has a crease in the middle that takes sometime for the bottom to be flat .. otherwise it's a good product.

This is a great size portable bathtub. It collapses and sets up easily. It comes with clamps & a Velcro strap to hold it closed when not in use. You also get a spout as well as a hose to make emptying easier. It's heavy duty, solid and well made. It's weighty. You'll want to make sure you have the spout inserted securely before filling it. We used a bucket of hot water to fill and it holds a lot, but make sure you count for the person or pet before filling it all the way or it may overflow. I'd recommend fill half way, get in then fill more as needed. It also works well to store items because it's so big.

I got this for washing my dog, since she is medium sized and fits well in this tub. The overall size is similar in size and depth to a 50 gallon tote. The tub itself seems to be solidly constructed, but I it remains to be seen how well the silicone joints hold up to the passage of time. As of now, the tub does not leak and holds water. It comes with a couple drain plugs, and cheap plastic drain hose to drain water. The drain hose is not very long and it is really cheap plastic. It also comes with two plastic clips to keep the top closed as well as a velcro belt to help the tub folded. This tub does not seem very practical for regular use, but is more than adequate for occasionally hauling out. I do like that it doesn't take up that much space.

The pictures or description don't mention it, but this tub comes with a a velcro strap and two plastic clips to help hold it in the collapsed state. The tub was easy to assembly (the drain plug), however the pictures for this on the included paper were very small. A drain tube is also included that can slip over the drain hole and help direct the water as you empty the tub. We're actually using this as a basin to keep drinks and water cold for parties, as well as hold kegs of beer on ice. Being collapsible makes it easy to transport, set up, and then tear down when we are done with it.

This is an amazing item, don't have to use for kids but can be used for; pets, foot soak (if you're in the mood for dealing with something large for this), hand washing items, and more. It folds up well and tucks out of the way really well, the velcro to hold and secure it while folded is nice as well. It came already put together all you need to do is pop it open and go.

This isn't an inexpensive product, and the quality reflects that. It feels heavy duty, made of thick plastic and silicone. It comes with a strap to hold it closed when it's folded. It's pretty deep, even at the lowest point it's 18" tall. That's great for adults that want to use this for themselves, since it's deep enough to submerge your body. If you're planning to use this to bathe a baby/child or pet, keep in mind you need to be able to lift them at least 18" high to get them in and out (not always easy to do if you have a big dog).
