I recently upgraded my portable setup with the CIDETTY 14'' Laptop Screen Extender, and it's been a total game-changer! The ultra-slim, lightweight design coupled with its robust protective case ensures that it's easy to carry around. The build quality of the dual 14-inch FHD 1080P IPS display is nothing short of phenomenal. Having FHD means I get a lot of pixel real estate so I can work on large spreadsheets without having to scroll or zoom too much. The colors are also nice , not as good as my $1600 Lenovo laptop but very nice and vibrant, I think its HDR. The screen has a matt finish so when I am outside in starbucks I see no reflection from windows , this is especially important as I tilt the two side monitors increasing the chances of reflection. Plus, the built-in blue light filter is great for my eyes and I don’t think my Lenovo screen has it so the Lenovo laptop screen is harder on my eyes at the same brightness level. Setting it up couldn't be easier—it's truly plug-and-play, no fussing with drivers required. With dual USB-C and HDMI connections, it seamlessly integrates with all my devices, from my Mac laptop to my Android phone and even my gaming consoles like the Steamdeck. This versatility is a game-changer, especially when I need to multitask across different platforms. I am able to use a single USBC cable per monitor since my $1600 Lenovo has two USBC ports. With my $375 Dell laptop only has one USBC so I have to use HDMI+USB3 combo to power and send image to the second screen so I can have 3 so it’s a bit more mess in the back but still works great. I was concerned about the weight and the flimsy support in the back, it turns out if you tilt the two monitors, which is the natural thing to do, then you wont have an issue the weight balances itself and holds up without opening the flimsy leg in the back. The built-in speakers are surprisingly good, I used Elgato Game Capture HD 3.5 and I was able to send my laptop sound to both left and right monitors. Pretty cool way to get some sort of surround from these two. Not great for stereo (since both channels go to both screens) but works great to add volume to sound. This issue has nothing to do with this device, its Microsoft not giving a darn about Windows and not improving some of the most basic necessities Windows is lacking still. Overall, the CIDETTY screen extender has surpassed all my expectations, the build quality, the screen quality, the simple USBC connections, the speakers and the bag, its really a great effort they have made in producing a top notch accessories that makes you have a mobile work office in seconds. I love it.

This product works well though one challenge is not on the product side, per se. Those of us with the Apple Macbook Pro that has the M1 processor the screen extender only works on one screen unless you have the proper accessories to use the third screen. The screen extender is still very convenient and portable.

The media could not be loaded. The extenders are positioned for great portability. I am using in coffee shops and during long layovers for work. The experience is seamless. It comes with a case as well. Another shoutout to the quality and the build for the price point. The connections and the cabling is of right length and size as well. Robustness/durability: At a point when i put the product in the case and left it on char. It accidentally fell. There was no damage and the extenders were fully operational. Great robustness. User experience: One another add is that it comes with anti-glare which was a pleasant surprise which helps me avoiding the backlighting in my office. Setup Instructions: The instruction manual is well layout and helps in seamless set up. Do keep in mind the order of closing the extender screens.
