My breastfed baby does really well with these and prefers them over the evenflo balance+ bottles. The flow is slightly faster. I use these with my Spectra bottles and it works great except the plastic dome top smushes the nipple a tiny bit - but this hasn’t caused any damage.

Oh my goodness. I tried so many nipples and bottles for my baby and they all ended in tears - his and mine. I tried the Breastflow bottle that has two sections in the nipple that my eldest liked, and I tried the nipples that came with the pump, and I tried all the Dr Brown's, and I tried bottles that looked like breasts. And the weekend before I had to go into the office I overnighted this two-pack in desperation, without much hope... And these are the ones! I couldn't believe it. He didn't love them immediately but instead of screaming and spring it out he drank a reluctant ounce from someone else over half an hour. Then he took a second one. I thought I might actually have to quit my job because this baby wouldn't take a bottle. Within days he was happy with these - they arrived in Friday morning and he went to daycare with this bottle system on Monday. It's now been a month and it's still all he will take in terms of bottles. My husband mixed it up with a different nipple from one of the many others we tried and he refused the bottle for a couple of hours. When my husband told me and I checked on the bottle, sure enough it didn't have this nipple on it. I've got rid of all the others now. I bought the mOmma bottles that are 5oz size and come with the slower flow version of these. When he's 6 months or ready I'll get the next stage (the 8oz mOmma bottles come with the faster flow version). I am so grateful to the inventors of this nipple, which allowed me and my nipples to go back to work or spend a couple of hours away from the baby. So spend the few dollars to try out this two-pack of nipples on one of the signs of wide mouth bottles your baby's already rejected and I hope it works for you, too. What a struggle and am epic search that I almost gave up on. So glad I read recommendations for these and decided to overnight them. After a month with them my baby, now 3.5 months, is so happy he'll even take the bottle from me! Life changing. Career saving. Thank you! My lactation consultant recommended these to me and gave me one bottle so I needed more nipples after my elder children thought they should see what they could get to go thru the nipple. We BF but it’s nice to know baby will take this bottle if I need to go out.
