I am a nurse. I bought this because the LifeProof case I used would disintegrate every 3 months or so- I think from wiping down with the disinfecting wipes at the end of each shift. Those are way too expensive to keep replacing, so I thought I would try this. The one I bought has been going strong for over a year and a half! PROs: waterproof, durable, great protection CONs: poor audio/ microphone blocked (use with speakerphone or headphones/ bluetooth so folks can hear you) TL;DR If you can afford repeatedly replacing a LifeProof case, it has much better audio. Yo update. I have found the case distorts sound. People cannot understand me. Product received promptly. I love the case. It has all features it claims. I like that I can see the color I chose for my phone in the back. Tapping keys us not an issue at all. It is very sensitive.; another great feature is the opening for the charger is large enough for the entry of charger end. I can hear people well and they can hear me well. I spend enough money on my pHone to invest in a good cover. This is my second over. The first one like this one kept my pHone 6 protected till Apple stopped supporting that phone. I would still be able to use my 6 model because the case held up so well. Trust me It was dropped numerous times, liquids spilled on it ; the screen remained in good shape and easily cleaned. Fits well in your hand you can still charge your phone on a charge pad with no problem and when you go to text, it’s like you don’t have a cover over the top of your phone. It’s a good phone case.

I convinced my wife to buy me another phone if this case didn’t work. With that, I put this case to the test. I submerged it in any water I could find while on vacation. No water ever penetrated the case. I threw in the pool, in the ocean, in the tub, I swam with it in my pocket, and recorded video with it. It works!!! The cons are the voices are muffled when on a call making it difficult to hear. Also, the touch screen is not as responsive especially in the edges of the screen (full disclosure, I did leave my screen protector on). In conclusion, this is a great case for occasional use. It is not for everyday use although it could be used for that purpose. ... show more

I bought this case shortly after dropping my phone and completely destroying the screen while using an Otterbox case. I was so angry for spending $60+ on a case only for my phone to still break while in it. When I initially got the case I loved it, it works great and I’ve dropped my phone many times with out any issues. The waterproofing also works extremely well, all in all I thought this was a great purchase, that was, until I discovered it’s Achilles heel. The way this case is designed it covers up the sensor that tells your phone you’re trying to use it while you’re on the phone. What this means is, as soon as a call begins the screen goes black and there is nothing you can do to bring up the display options. Yes, this means there’s no putting it on speaker phone, no dialing your options for the inphone menu, and no hanging up without having to shut your phone off or wait for the other person to hang up. I cannot express how frustrating this is. To make matters worse, it happens 75-80% of the time so you always have that slight glimmer of hope that “this time will be different”. This is literally one of the worst problems a case could have and is completely a deal breaker for me. I highly advise you buy a different case if you are looking for a new one for your phone. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS TORMENT! ... show more

This case is great for clumsy people like myself who accidentally throw their phone down the entire staircase. I've never worried about it cracking with this case on it. It's 10/10 for safety. On the other hand, the audio is terrible. Be prepared for every customer service rep to hang up on you and for you to have to put every phone call on speaker to be able to barely hear them. It's honestly been a liability while traveling with hotels and airlines hanging up on me for not being able to hear or understand me well. ... show more

And all because I love this case so much. Two were for my husband, two were for me. The only reason I had to update my case is because my toddler gets a hold of it and throws it and bites it. Eventually after all that, the case does start to wear down. But honestly it holds up so well. It is extremely waterproof. I use my phone to listen to music constantly in the bathroom or shower area and it holds up perfectly, so long as you make sure the case is completely closed. This is such an affordable case compared to other brands like Otterbox. It had a dial on the left to manage the silent mode on your iPhone. It also has a cover for the charger plug in, which conveniently also keeps the dust out. If you are like me, I keep my case on daily.
