This is my first time buying a bathrobe, and I wanted one that was warm, thick, and long enough for me to modestly wear on its own after getting out of the shower. This robe checks all those boxes! After first wash, it seems to hold up well (it did shed a lot of lint on that first wash, so be prepared for that!) It is a nice knee-length on me and there is enough fabric to wrap around so there’s no awkward gap. It seems thick enough to be fairly absorbent, at least for damp skin (maybe not if you’re dripping wet). It’s not super soft – it feels pretty much like wrapping a big towel around yourself, but that’s to be expected with the terry cloth fabric (and I specifically looked for terry cloth, as opposed to the plush fabrics, because I wanted it for after the shower). Overall, it fits and feels as expected and I’m happy with it! I wish I could’ve gotten the blue color but only the white one was on sale. But for a under-$40 robe, I’d say this one is definitely worth purchasing!

I'm 5'9.5", 140 lbs., and normally wear a medium. Ordered a large to have some room and just in case it shrinks. Before washing the length was mid calf, which is what I wanted. The sleeves were too short with the cuff, too long rolled down, but I folded it half cuff and it seemed like it would work. So I washed it according to directions, and it shrunk at least 2". Length is now barely below the knee, and sleeve length is perfect rolled down. A cuff is no longer an option, which is fine, but I'm a bit worried about it shrinking further. Wondering if I should have gotten XL. There's still plenty of room in the waist even after shrinkage. It is not the softest robe I've ever had, but it's soft enough. I wanted it for wearing right out of the shower, like a towel, and it works well for that. It's very absorbent. I like that the sleeves aren't overly wide, too. It's a more fitted robe, which is what I wanted. I would buy again and recommend to others, but advise to size up due to shrinkage.

I love this robe, it is a good weight and perfect calf length. I am 5'2" and it is just right. True to size, I am wide at the hips and the large fit perfectly. This is definitely Land's End quality it would make a nice gift.

I hesitated to get this robe due to the 1 star reviews HOWEVER: This robe is soft. I love 100% cotton. This robe shrank just enough. It's 100% cotton and it should shrink a little. This robe lost the usual amount of "lint" when I washed it. The sleeves ended up just right so that I can push them above my elbows and the cuff holds it there. 5 foot 5 inches tall and 133 pounds: I got a size Medium. Land's End is a reliable company. I am very happy that I bought this robe.
