I was pleasantly surprised in the quality and packaging of the chandelier. Although it was completely unassembled, all pieces were well packaged and arrived in great condition. They included a number of extra small pieces which was appreciated. Reading through the instructions was a bit of a challenge and the directions were not very clear but I was able to assemble it myself in about an hour. On a scale of 1 - 10, one being the hardest and 10 easiest I would say assembly was about a four. The finish on all the metal pieces was well done as was the faux finish on the wood pieces. I absolutely love the look of it and cannot wait to hang it over my dining table; may purchase a second one for another room! ... show more

Easy to assemble, took about 25 minutes to put together and 10 minutes to install. I wish i got dimmable light bulbs due to my light switch i have install but it fits my modern chic contemporary farm look.
