I purchased the Lamina sneakers in a size 8 and then returned them for the 8.5. The return process was easy and the refund issued quickly. I am so pleased with these sneakers. They are so easy to just slip on. As for the insole and comfort, I do like that it is a bit more a a minimalist approach on cushioning and that they are lower to the ground and so elevated and high up that I feel like I am wearing platform sneakers. Shoe is very comfortable out of the box. Somewhat wider than normal so foot can spread out. The mesh is open for breathing, but this means dust, dirt, water all get in. Great as a street shoe, not so much for yard or garden work.

Bought these shoes because I was having a hip replacement n needed something I could slip on. These shoes are adorable n true to size, but difficult to get on. Bummer.
