I seem to have problems with the BP meds they've tried me on so far....they either cause anxiety or insomnia so I'm trying the juice before I see my dr again. The taste, well, like drinking red dirt water but if it works then I'm going to continue to drink it. I know beets are super healthy so it's worth a try. Very Good - tastes like real beets. to mee this tastes good cold or room temperature. Bought a number of these when on sale to reduce blood pressure that got to 148/90 eek! After 5 days I am at 117/80 however I have also included celery juice daily and Higher doses of Omega 3's. I also exercise regularly and do not eat fast food so other factors are involved. but I do believe that beets play a good role. I use this Beetroot juice to keep my blood pressure stable. I went from 168 - to 148 - to 129. Then I stopped for 5 days while on vacation and it went back up. Started again and now I'm back down to 128.

As most of you that have ever eaten beets know that they have what is described as a "dusty" or "earthy" taste. Same goes for the juice . What I found is that if I add a small amount of pure maple syrup to the juice it does make it more palatable to my taste buds. This is the first time I have tried the juice rather than the whole beet. I was watching the "Doctors" tv show and they recommended it because of its medicinal advantages and also a news report that it was good for brain improvement in older people ( I'm in my 70's ) so with that in mind, me and the wife decided to give it a try. If it only helps a little ,it's worth a few dollars. I don't expect a quick fix but maybe after a year or so we should see a change for the better in our health. ... show more
