Ok sooo... Love the smell of this fragrance! First time trying any of the fragrances in the 11 11 line. I'm obsessed. I don't typically like citrus and florals on me, but it dries down nice and warm, and not synthetic like most coconut and citrus scents do. I could wear this every single day. The notes they listed on the packaging are spot on. I'm also getting lime. As much as I love the scent, it's hard to justify $105 for a full size when this comes across as a body spray, not a perfume. Longevity leaves a lot to be desired. ...Might cave anyway and get the full size and douse myself in it. Lol. ... show more

This Lake & Skye 11 11 Moon Eau De Parfum smells nice, and for me the scent can evoke the comforting memory of warm embrace or the peaceful feeling of a moonlit night. It has an up front coconut scent with musky floral undertones. I think it can smell different depending on the amount used. I prefer a smaller spritz on my wrist, which I then rub onto the other wrist, and then across other parts of my body. The bottle is beautiful with an iridescence that makes it look different in different light, which mirrors the experience I have with its scent. Within this scent profile there are some floral and musk notes, but the coconut lands first. The cashmere musk and jasmine follow. I can sense a bit of bergamot and cedarwood. When I first used this perfume, it seemed to have a very rich sent that hit deep and low on my olfactory palate. I used at least two sprays, which in hindsight was too much. I classified the scent as a semi-strong scent, that could be overpowering if overused, and I think I did, in fact, use too much. Also, with my first use I'm thinking it may have interacted with something that changed the scent (perhaps my supposedly unscented body lotion?). This Eau de Parfum comes in a beautiful iridescent spray bottle inside an equally beautiful box depicting an iridescent sky with white clouds. I love the presentation. The box was wrapped/sealed in cellophane, which I like so I can tell it’s new and unused. The bottle appears to be made of glass. It’s lightweight and it has a silver spray top with silver lid. The spray top is not removable. The straw inside the bottle is long enough to reach the bottom, which is important when coming down to the last drop. The bottle stands slightly under 5 inches tall, and with it being slim, it’s a good size for throwing in a purse or bag when going out. The bottle dispenses a nice spray mist with a good sized radius. This scent lasts a long time, and the amount I use, in addition to the surrounding scents, and what (if anything) I use on my skin beforehand, can affect the smell of this perfume. A smaller amount during the day is perfect, but after dark, a little more than one spray can create a scent perfect for a special occasion. After using it for a while I've grown to love it. I love Lake & Skye and one of my favorite scents is the OG 11 11. I couldn’t wait to try this new scent. The packaging is beautiful! Cloud designs and a shimmery packaging. When I pulled the bottle out I was stunned! It’s shimmery too which I did not expect. I love these perfumes because they are subtle. They don’t overpower or overwhelm. As someone with a sensitive nose, other perfumes give me a headache. Not the lake & skye ones. However, when I sprayed this one it was an immediate no for me. It reminded me of those glitter sprays we all used in the early 2000s. The size is nice and I know the scent lasts most of the day. The value is also great for this brand. But this scent was not it for me. For reference, I love their Citrus Blonde, 11 11, and 11 11 Vanilla scents. ... show more

    • Coconut Pineapple with an Effervescent Sparkle

The most prominent notes in 11 11 Moon are coconut and pineapple, and they come through clearly right from the first spray. It has a bright, effervescent quality layered on top of that tropical base, almost like a sparkling fizz that gives it an airy, luminous feel rather than something thick or heavy. I have not explored the rest of the 11 11 range, but I have tried Santal Grey from Lake & Skye, which shares a similar clean overall vibe while being quite different in its actual notes. This one is more playful and tropical by comparison, and distinctly feminine in character. Longevity is solid for a lighter fragrance. I got around six hours on skin total, with projection lasting about two and a half to three hours before it settles closer to the skin. Three sprays worked well for me. It wears best as a daytime scent and pairs naturally with warmer weather, casual outings, or any occasion where you want something fresh and inviting without being loud or overpowering. The bottle is just as beautiful as the scent. The sparkly iridescent finish catches the light in a really elegant way and the travel spray format makes it easy to carry for touch-ups throughout the day. Overall this is a gorgeous, feminine, tropical fragrance with a unique effervescent quality that sets it apart from more generic coconut scents. Five stars. ... show more
