The dress was made to my custom measurements and I received it within a little over a week of ordering it, I ended up using a thread puller and carefully taking off the embroidery patches on the straps and I shortened them myself by stitching down the back part of the strap about 1 inch for a less floppy fit, it made no holes and looked perfect. I also stitched down the front embordered pieces on the chest for a cleaner more elegant look. I also spent a few hours trimming excess fabric around the embroidered designs so it looked cleaner up close. I am beyond happy with this purchase. This was my back up dress and when it arrived I decided after trying it on that I HAD TO WEAR THIS! I felt so beautiful and everyone was shocked that I got it for $120 off Amazon. The only things I didn't enjoy was the chemical smell it omitted, I aired it out for about 1 and a half weeks and sprayed it down with my favorite smell a couple times and also steamed it and that seemed to help greatly. I felt like a princess for our elopement here in Washington State. It poured rain the entire time but the dress stayed in place and I was able to wear a white strapless bra underneath for extra va-voom in the chest LOL! So in this photo I was about 175lbs and I’m 5’ 2” this is a size 12, which was too big as you can see the corset is much tighter than I’d like it to be. So I sent this one back for a size 8. The seller did ask me if I wanted to have them make custom measurements for me, and I just decline because I’m actually a seamstress so I’ll be doing my own alterations. The return is kinda lame, but not as bad as everyone claims. Just make sure they give you an American address to send it back to which they did over my messages with them. If they send you a Chinese label, do not use that. It will cost you more than the dress did to ship it that way. I’m sure getting my money actually back will take some time and that doesn’t surprise me. But the dress is beautiful, I really do love it. I haven’t gotten my size 8 yet but it should be any day now. I think the first dress only took two weeks to get here. Update, I’ve been fighting for a refund for months now from the first dress I sent back that was too big. I’ve reported the seller numerous times. I’ve messaged them a dozen times. Still nothing. ... show more

The breast area has wires that will need to be removed.. Does not conform to my chest. The shoulders were broad, my shoulders are petite and narrow. Had to modify it. The waist fit just right on the size 6. Normally I am a size 5, so the waist may be small , so you may need the next size up. Not sure. Good luck. Really good price! Happy with purchase. First of all, the dress, although super beautiful is made for a woman over 6 ft tall. I made an attempt to return the dress because of an issue with the corset back. The process was a disaster and I had to file a dispute with my CC company after well over a month of trying. The dress was not an accurate fit and the corset looked quite odd when tied. The purchase says free returns and it will not be free if sent from the US. I will avoid this store and seller and any 3rd parties going forward for sure. The dress has a lace tie up the back so it can be adjusted unlike if it is a zipper. I did have a bustle done but it under up busting off through out the night, due to not having a zipper and lots of layers it needed 5 underneath and 5 on top. If I would do it all over again I would still buy the dress. I had so many compliments on my dress and it was absolutely stunning. It stayed up all night and at the end of the night I tucked the sleeves into my dress so I was more moveable with my arms. I was nervous it was going to slide down a lot but it did not. It stayed up even with jumping and dancing the night away. I had to have the length hemmed and the lady who did it and the bustle did a great job and left the length of the train in the back. Do yourself a favor and say YES TO THE DRESS!!! I absolutely LOVED this dress! I took the most perfect wedding pictures thanks to how this dress made me feel! I had one that I was thinking of using but was second guessing it and I decided to take a leap of faith with this one and I can confidently say I do not regret it! Two of my main concerns were what if it doesn’t come in on time and what if it doesn’t fit. I did pay express shipping and it came within about a week and a half (with enough time for my wedding shoot!) and it fit like a glove. I will share my measurements because I’m not shy to do so and I know I personally love seeing measurements from others too to see if I might fit in it and I want to do y’all the favor because trust me! You need this dress! I bought a size 12. I am 43” bust size, 36” waist size and 45” hips. Also, I am 5’1”. I would say a size 12 would also work if you are plus/minus 3” within my measurements (give or take). For example, if you’re anyone between 40”- 46” bust, between 33”-39” waist, and between 42”-48” hips, I would suggest 12 would be a good fit.
