The media could not be loaded. This review comes after handling my initial purchase choice for nearly 2 1/2 to 3 months, and honestly, I am more than satisfied. At the end are the products I used on the hair. Definitely can agree on beginner friendly, but also a great budget choice overall. So the hair I recieved was the 5x5 ("black") and did not have a smell to it, came in a convenient pick bag, and was bagged in a separate clear one, with small additional gifts. The hair itself, was not the initial pattern I thought it would be, a little too cookie-cutter wave BUT after that wash she came out looking like a fresh beach wave! I did tint the lace with powder and there was some minor shedding initially, but nothing extreme. Fast Forward tbrough weeks of workouts and training: my workout routine caused me to wash the hair weekly, so I'm not sure if it was due to this or not BUT she held up really well everytime. The shedding did increase overtime, and could be what everyone else has a complaint on BUT the hair I recieved remained thick, like I saw nothing underneath, and I mean, she was shedding! Lol Towards the end of the 3 month mark, it was harder to maintain the softness and she became lack-luster but was still workable and I could revive her with some water, conditioner, and mousse. I definitely did not expect her to last as long as she did, yet I'm pleasantly accepting of the quality on a whim of a choice I made. Currently, I re-purchased the hair again and this time the 13x4 came with a lace was tinted in color - which was absolutely perfect for my tone as I didn't have to do anything to it. This time, there was a noticeable smell, but not so much on the hair. It was overall when I removed it from the Amazon package. I of course still washed and the smell dissipated and did not remain thereafter. There isn't much play on top, and the cap construction is best suited for small-medium head sizes (especially when the straps are cinched closer together). Now, all of that works out great for me and to my benefit so just keep that in mind. I only need to trim the lace, and a minor trim around the ears to prevent irritation. Sealed it all with some lace spray and thus far, I really am enjoying her, and glad I choose to go with them again. I will absolutely continue to purchase. I am convinced that some of y’all females are so picky and just heard to please smh. For the price I really like the hair. This hair can be worked with. When I got it I was a little skeptical, because the hair wasn’t so full to me and the lace is thick. But babyyyyy once I started playing with it and put my little products in it!!!!! I love it. I would order from this company again. the hair did have a smell to it but other than that it’s good hair to me. Let’s be real all these hair companies are the same. I purchased this wig on November 23, 2022. It came on time and served its purpose for the amount of money that was spent. I waited a while well a month to see what the outcome of the hair would be once I washed it a few times. So why a four star? Read on! The wig is beautiful and I’m still trying to hold on to it until I get a new one. So here it goes, you have to be careful of what products you use on the hair. Try not to brush it too much. Use proper comb or bush to maintain it. When I saw that after a few washes it started to get rough I immediately purchased Silicone mix and it came back to life. I also bought the Silicone mix deep leave in conditioner and Garnier fruitis anti fizz serum green bottle about 5.00 bucks in Walmart. You will experience shedding but not clumps but after a month it got a bit thin, but still wearable. Proper maintenance is key because most companies use a certain chemical to get the hair curly or enhance the curl pattern. So silicone based products MAYBE best to use on the the wig. I’m not an expert but I used to work at a prominent hair store and products you use on hair means life or death for wig or bundle! Whew! Sorry for the book! The media could not be loaded. I LOVE THIS HAIR. I installed it on my client and it ate down!!!! It was transparent lace so i had to do some finessing on the hairline but other than that it was perfect. The hair had no shedding, no smell, and the curls was perfect. You should strive to get the size correct with every delivery. The lace did not stretch from ear to ear. It only covered a small portion of my forehead, which shows me it is not the eight size. I ordered a replacement, but I don't even want it. I have an event, and I can't risk it being the wrong size. I'm trying to cancel the replacement, but it's not showing me how, so I will return it as soon as it comes. ... show more
