The clasps as mentioned were loosely attached; however, it was still strongly attached. It is a lightweight cloak; however, I still got warm in the sun and had to take it off. Full disclosure I did treat it to be water resistant so I don’t know if that made it warmer (I don’t think it actually did, but wanted to mention just in case). I love it, I wear it almost daily when the sun goes down. If you are a 2x it won’t close fully naturally; however, you can wrap it around yourself if you hold it. So it won’t completely cover your outfit!!!! The fabric doesn’t shine like others of similar value. I would buy again. Also cloaks are better than jackets for warmth due to length…I realized this only because of this cloak. It’s so good.

What a fantastic hooded cloak! This is really well designed and made - no serged seams, they're fully hemmed! The hood is roomy enough to accommodate a poofy hairstyle. The curved shoulders means everything stays where it should. Good length, decent amount of fabric. I'm a larger gal, and the front opening isn't absurdity gaping, and I have enough room to throw a side over the opposite shoulder for a bit of flair. While this is a man-made fiber, it is lightweight and breathable, and looks like linen. Green is a lovely color. Husband is ordering one for himself, as this is a super good value for the price.

It is hard to judge quality just from an image on the screen & I wasn't sure what the fabric would be like on this cape. I was delighted to find it heavier than I expected. It isn't a silky fabric. It is more like broadcloth, but slightly thinner and more fluid. It drapes wonderfully - no sign of static or clinging to itself or other clothing items. The hood is excellent too - correct shape to stay up and not flop forward over my eyes. The metal leaf hook is attractive and easy to hook. You could bend it with a pair of pliers if you needed it tighter, but I don't see any future issues with it as is. I am 5'-3". I will be hemming it shorter, taking off 5" from the length. As is, it is just an inch or two off the ground. I've pinned it shorter and think it looks a little better on me minus 5". It's really up to you, but if you are shorter than I am, you should expect it to touch the ground. I've a few extra pounds on me and the shoulders on this cape fit just right. I think it could complement many different body types because of how well this type of fabric drapes. I will be sewing on some applique for fun -- it is like a blank canvas for whatever you want to do if you want to add your own touches to it.

Sent the crap back! The clasp dangling. Only sewn through one of the two eyelets. Why should I have to go but thread to match and sew it when it is new. Reading other feedback now, I see this is an on going problem, why doesn’t Amazon do anything about it

This cloak is great for cosplay or costume fun. It is a somewhat thin material in the sense that you can see light through it and it is breathable. The material is coarse, almost like a cloth tablecloth. The green is like a muted leaf green with a metal clasp at the neck. As for sizing I believe it is a one size fits all, for reference I am 5'7" and this falls at my ankles. When you are wearing it the hood fits a little large, I could cover my whole face with it, but it gives that nice drape look when you wear it "correctly". I find it to be comfortable and fun to wear, and I am glad I got this.

This cloak is a great addition to a fantasy costume. Its fabric is nothing special, it's kind of reminiscent of tablecloth fabric, and a little on the thin side. The hood is nice and big, face covering, but in a normally lit room you can actually see everything around you due to the thin fabric. The green is pretty true to the listing as it appears on my screen. On a 5'3" person the cloak is just barely off the ground, on a 6'3" person it's more shin length. The brass colored leaf shaped hook clasps are really cute and easy to clasp and unclasp. So, not a keepsake quality item, but great for a costume and actually provides some unexpected visibility.
