this desk has so much room it was very easy to put together with just one person you can decide which way the side piece goes it has a small outlet on top, but I wouldn't plug a lot into it, as it has sparked while doing so

    • JOINHOM L-Shaped Desk with Drawers - sturdy desk!
I looked at the desk online, read the instructions, laid out the parts, and made sure I knew which way I wanted the desk set up. The instructions were a little confusing but made sense after I studied them and laid out the parts. Once I got going it took me maybe an hour and that was with a couple of breaks. When I went to attach the two pieces I had them upside down on my carpet and had no problem attaching them. The only time I needed an extra pair of hands was when I turned the table back on its feet. I am happy with this table. I wish that the corners were rounded rather than cornered. I put corner cushions on the corners. The longer table is 55.1 inches in length and this replaced a table that was 72 inches, I am finding this a bit too short for me but it will do for now. I am thinking of adding a sit-and-stand desk in addition to this desk. There are four inserted AC plug outlets and two USB ports on the desktop and the power cord is a nice 6 feet 6 inches. The two drawers are made of a sturdy fabric and lift in and out they don't slide on a rung. It has clean lines and so far it seems to have been well made and a decent choice for a desk. ... show more

Desk is on the tinier side, but its perfect for small spaces or housing a laptop. I love that it comes in white, as most desks I find tend to be darker colors. I also love that even though its smaller, it has a ton of storage built in. Its very functional and looks pretty.

This Joinhom L-shaped computer desk is exactly as advertised. I don’t have a home office but it fits perfectly in the family room in our basement, that’s where my girls do their schoolwork. This took approximately 1-1/2 hrs for me to assemble as I didn’t feel confident in the included instructions. This is a thick framed sturdy desk with great storage. The desk has a metal frame so it is really sturdy. The instructions claim two people can put this together in 20 minutes. I did it by myself and it took me 50 minutes. Why? Because the instructions are terrible. None of the parts are labeled but in the instructions they are labeled. Something like 6 metal bars are the same length and none are labeled. Three different bars are the same length and none are labeled. It is just confusing. So I spent a lot of time making sure the pieces I grabbed were the correct pieces. There is a rectangular opening on the short board of the desk top. This is for an outlet strip. As you can see in the attached pictures the preset holes are not even. One is centered where it should be while the other is off center and does not line up with the screw hole in the power strip. That's all the negative. The positive is the desk is nice once complete. The power stip is so convenient. It has four AC outlets and two USB. There are two cloth drawers that are decently sized and easy to pull in and out. The metal frame of the desk makes me hopeful that it will last a long time. I would add thread locker to the bolts so they don't work their way out. ... show more

    • Beautiful Desk with a Unique Look
My wife got this desk for her sewing machine and crafting and loves the functionality and design. It wasn't particularly easy to put it together as the instructions are a bit lacking, but it's quite sturdy once all setup. The metal frame feels solid with the desk all attached and the drawers and cubbies offer a variety of storage solutions. With that said, the corner storage is a bit tricky to access, so my wife just ended up putting a few single storage bins she can pull out when she needs extra supplies. It's worth noting the dimensions image since they help give a more accurate idea of the actual storage space. It's smaller than we thought! Still, there's lots of utility with this desk, especially for its dimensions, so if you're stuck with a slightly smaller space, this is a great desk with some fun storage solutions. ... show more
