I used Aubrey "E Over high C" roll-on for many years after becoming allergic to aluminum. From time to ttime, I'd try other "good ingredient" deodorants, but I always went back to Aubrey because it worked. Now the product has been discontinued, and I went back on the hunt. I've tried half a dozen currently available products. They just don't work. At all. I don't expect to be dry, just to be fresh-smelling. L'Occitane is expensive, but worth it. Because it works. And bonus: lovely to use like everything from this manufacturer. I'll cut back on something else!

This deodorant is marketed for men, but it has a spiced scent to it that works for everyone—and I love it. I’ve purchased this product many times. It is the type of purchase, fantastic on all fronts and highly effective.

I tried several natural deodorants but always had re apply. This one stays with you even on those hot sweaty gardening days. Smells more on masculine side at first but not too heavy and scent is more of a fresh scent once applied.

Reviews of this product show a wide range of opinion. I have been looking for a deodorant to go with my Pre de Provence shaving soap and after shave moisturizer. To my surprise (and my sense of smell), the floral fragrance package here is very close to them; a big plus for me since it is hard to source a full range of toiletries having similar aromas. This scent could work for men and women without causing comment. The roll-on applicator is smooth working and the formula is non-stinging (unlike cheaper roll-ons.) The compact shape of the container is fine for travel but the glass is not so fine if it is dropped. I gave this an 18-hour test, putting it on mid-afternoon, wearing it overnight and then leading an exercise class the next morning. I perspire a lot all over so underarm antiperspirants don't matter so much as odor control. My shirts and shorts are still doing to be damp. This product came through my test very effectively. I am not even sure that it is very healthy to use those stick deodorants that work by clogging underarm pores, preventing normal cooling and flushing through the pores. Yes, this product is expensive, especially once the supplier tacks on almost as much in shipping and handling as the product's initial cost: order s number of items from the supplier at the same time to lessen the impact! Or maybe it will be a 'deal-breaker'. Reviewers are well-justified in docking the product a star for cost issues.
