This is very good quality closed link chain. It is strong and durable. The gold plating tone is not a bad gold color, it is just, I guess the way that each link is made and then with them all being round, not sure but maybe that gives it lot of shadows when looking at it, though I am not sure why exactly, but the effect just makes it look kind of cheap. I think it would probably look better in the silver tone. I still do use it, as the quality is good and strong plus it is the type of chain I needed, but it just does not look as nice as other chains like this that I have used before. ... show more
