When JoAnn went out of business I purchased a ton of embroidery floss and wanted to put it all on bobbins so it would be easily visible and accessible. I purchased this case primarily for the bobbin winder and have used that winder A LOT! It works great but be careful that you don't lose the small pin used to hold the bobbin in the winder because extras do not seem to be available.

Great organization kit. The winding tool clips onto side of the case so you can easily wind each bobbin. Comes with a ton of bobbins. Would definitely recommend.

They seem sturdy and work ok, the gap where the end of the thread goes seems too wide for floss and is constantly coming out and unraveling so I have my ends taped just to be safe

I'm thrilled to have this for my embroidery floss. It's so nice to have them organized and easily accessible. I have not used the winder as of yet; although, it looks sturdier than I expected.

It is obvious why I got this product and it has worked out for the majority of the time. The only thing I don't like is the winder, merely because it makes a squeaky noise when I turn the handle. Other than that then I don't have much to complain about. The organizer has been handy to have since I didn't have one and the bobbins are also things I didn't have since I have only done the small cross stitch kits and typically didn't seem to need a bobbin due to not having much thread left. So all in all this was a good buy for someone who is still learning and who took on the task of cross-stitching a pet portrait (I can't do the Thread painting because that requires having practice before trying to do it for a cat that is black, brown, and white). Would recommend it for those just looking for organization and a little winder that helps out a bit.

this is perfect for what it does! i think winding it by hand is easier then using the little winder tool it comes with. but i like this a lot! my stuff looks super cute and organized now!!!
