I bought these for my 8-year-old son who wanted to start roller skating, and it was a fantastic choice. The skates are adjustable (sizes that grow with the foot), so they fit him perfectly now and will last a while longer without needing to buy new ones soon. What he loves most are the light-up wheels—they glow brightly as he skates (no batteries needed!), and it’s such a cool effect in the afternoon or evening at the park. He feels like a total pro! For the price, the quality is excellent: sturdy materials, comfortable boots with good ankle support (very important for beginners), effective brakes, and smooth wheels that roll well on both pavement and rink surfaces. They even come with basic protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards), which I insist he wears since he’s an active kid. My son picked up balancing quickly and now uses them non-stop. They feel stable and secure, and he doesn’t complain about foot pain even after hours of skating. Easy to adjust with the buttons and secure with laces and straps. Highly recommended for kids aged 6-10 who want to get into roller skating. Perfect gift idea with tons of fun guaranteed!

They fit my 10 years old who loves to skate. They arrived a bit used (scruffed wheels) with no tool or extra shoe lace like others. It arrived with one lace on the right & none on the left skate. He likes the light & can now match with his teen twin sisters and I. The light makes it fun for him! It's made of both soft & hard plastic material. There is no insoles for comfort. You'll have to add a more comfortable insole to each of the skate. They inside fabric on both skates are lifted & looks kind of torn versus sewn on properly. :/ Good for beginners as well as the outside plastic will protect the ankles & feet. These are not meant for outdoor on concrete. You still can use them but they will need new wheels in the future. We'll take it to the skating rink this weekend to give it a try.

I don’t think rollerskates are supposed to be made in the same style as rollerblades. These were very uncomfortably tight and didn’t glide like my usual rollerskates. It was harder to ride on them. They look good, but they’re not great at functioning.

I chose these skates in the color: PURPLE which is what I consider to be a dark lavender, with black and white graphics and LIGHT WHEELS! It was those light up wheels that grabbed my GRANDdaughter's attention as much as any other aspect of the skates. SMILES __ I appreciate that these are adjustable, though I will say it isn't a super easy task to adjust them, because they're a bit awkward to simultaneously hold the skate and push in the button to increase or decrease the shoe size __The quality seems good overall but there was an issue the very first time putting these skates on: the loop at the back of the skates came out. Pulled right out. After inspecting it, I saw there stitching was loose in that section. The other skate had no issues __One other somewhat of an issue I take with these skates is the stopper. Instead of it being a softer rubber, they are plastic. Will it work as a stop? Yes, but if it is used often (talking about new skater here) that plastic will not last long and I feel will actually crack easily of stressed much -as it may be when skaing on a hard surface like concrete. IMO __The wheels roll smoothly and light works without need for a battery __BOTTOM LINE: Overall these are good beginner skates but at the listed price I would not choose them again. I would opt for an actual rubber toe stop
