These are truly collectible. Beautifully decorated, and are exactly the heirloom quality I was hoping for. The box was damaged in shipment, so that was disappointing because I keep everything in the box. But on the tree they are stunning. I just bought another box because 5 are not enough!

I remember when a box of these type ornaments were around $5. I hemmed and hawed for a couple of days not wanting to spend so much. But I finally relented. I'm glad I did. They are very pretty and remind me of the ornaments of old.

I think these are lovely ornaments, contrary to some other reviews! They look nicer in person than in the picture and really enhance an Xmas tree. I bought this set earlier than I needed but was concerned that they might not be in stock closer to the holidays or the price would be a lot higher. The ornaments look much more expensive and the quality seems to be good. Not one ornament arrived broken and although somewhat delicate should the tops with the hook to hang them come off it's easily put back in the ball. These are medium sized and can be used with both smaller and larger ornaments depending on tree size. The 'glitter' does not fall off these decorations! In case anyone wonders the hooks are not included but they're cheap enough to buy.

These ornaments are "made in China" for "Kurt Adler." They do seem to be glass. They are not quite as nice as others I have purchased, but I got them for a good price, and from a distance, they are fine. They are not quite as glossy on the reflectors and the glitter work is a bit clunky--but, again, I feel that they are exceptional for the price. I will put them on the back and sides of the tree to replace some similar ornaments that I have broken, and I doubt that anyone will be the wiser. UPDATE: Bought a second package. This one was a bit of a problem--it appears that the package was exposed to high heat. The black packaging (what the ornaments sit in) had shrunk. When I tried, very carefully, to pull one out (as it appeared not to be particularly well painted, and I wanted to check it before storing it until next year), it shattered. I don't know if it was already cracked due to the shrunken plastic or if it shattered due to being tight in the packaging. If I got another, I would probably just cut the black packaging off (which I did with the other ornaments) rather than try to pull the ornament out of the tight packaging. So, perhaps lift the whole black section out of the box and check the bottom--if it looks crinkled and shrunken, be very cautious in removing the ornaments.

Nice size for my old fashioned tree

The ornaments look cute from a far, I'm not fully sure what they are made of. They feel like glass, but have a shrink wrap plastic look to them. The prominent seam down the middle and the non shiny area around the glitter lines were the deal breaker for me... Some of the glitter lines were already peeling off, it looked like a bad sticker.
