I love these reading glasses! They are very fashionable and comfortable to wear. They are lightweight and made from a durable plastic that seems like it will hold up well. A couple of things I really like: The lenses are very clear to see through and the frame colors are bold, but classy. These readers filter blue light, and while the jury is still out about whether this really makes a difference in eye health, I have noticed that since I started using these at night when I am using my phone or reading online, I am actually falling asleep easier, I’m not as restless during the night, and I’m not waking up with headaches anymore. The frames have spring hinges, so the gentle flexibility that comes with that slightly wider range of motion makes them less likely to suddenly snap and break. Also, there’s no metal on the bridge, so the glasses won’t get tangled in my hair if I rest them on top of my head, as I often do, and I don’t have to worry about those little nose pads getting bent out of shape and becoming uncomfortable. This item includes five pairs of reading glasses and individual color-coordinated cases for each pair, which means I can keep a pair in my purse, in my car, by my bedside, etc. and always have consistency in magnification and comfort by using the same brand/style of readers, regardless of where I might be. The cases are sturdy and well-made of a faux leather material with tight stitching (see my posted pics) – much nicer that the thin cushion cases that come with so many other ready glasses. These are very nice reading glasses, and I think they are a great value for the quality of item that I received. I can easily recommend these for purchase. They would also make a lovely gift for someone else.

I am of the age where reading glasses have become a necessity for seeing any text not poster sized! I find myself frustrated and reaching for a pair all the time so I decided to order this 5pc set. Having multiple pairs has become a must and I now seek them out in sets. They are especially more important with the blue light blocking feature for use while on the laptop. I tend to stay up long hours at night staring at my screen so these should help with the constant eyestrain. These are plastic reading glasses in 5 colors. You get one in black, red, blue, purple, and orange. The front of the frames are a solid color with transparency, not visible in the photos. The handles are clear acrylic with a pattern design in a matching color. They are more beautiful and vibrant in person than shown. Each pair comes with a protective case in a matching color. I love the the size and fit of these readers. The frame sits perfectly on my face without them sitting on my cheeks, which is sometimes bothersome to me. These are just the perfect size and fit for my face. I love these readers. There isn't one color that I don't like.

These reading glasses are light, comfortable, and the mottled pattern on the frame’s arms is a cute, modern look. The nosepad is part of the frame so it’s not adjustable. There’s a selection of nice colors; each pair has a vinyl color-coordinated case instead of one of those fabric bags you usually get. Magnification and clarity is fine. (I know, you can hear a “but” coming . . .) But my immediate issue with them is that the lenses/frame are so small I can see the entire edge of the frame, all sides, in my peripheral vision. I find this very distracting, most likely because the lenses/frame of my current readers is large enough that I barely see the frames at all - - just clear vision. I have to chalk this up to personal preference because there’s no fault in the glasses themselves. (Also, I started this review yesterday, finishing today, and already quite used to them.) You can’t find much fault with them at $10 for a 5-pack - - you can afford to distribute them all around your home and keep a pair with you for menu reading. Just check out the size noted in the product description in case you think it would really bother you, but otherwise they're a good deal.

As I get older (age 73), I’m noticing my eyesight is getting increasingly weaker. So, I’ve been using readers of 1.75 and 2.0. And I wondered if a stronger magnification would help me read easier. I’m on my tablet all day long, and in addition to straining my eyes, I’m exposed to blue light all day from the tablet. I decided to upgrade my lens strength to 2.5 with this set of readers. The first thing I noticed is how very clear things are after about a half hour of using this stronger strength. If you currently don’t use readers or you’re using a weaker strength, it might take a bit for your eyes to become accustomed to a stronger strength. These glasses have clear lenses, plastic frames and I love the colors. Each pair of glasses has a color coordinated case. The nose piece is comfortable and the glasses don’t slide down my nose as some heavier glasses do. I also like the rectangular shape of these glasses. I prefer this shape to bigger square shapes. I appreciate that they are blue blocking and protect my eyes from damaging light. If you’re looking for readers, this is a nice set to get and the price is right.
