Got these for our 2 year old. He was not a fan of shoes at this point, fought putting them on, which could be a problem at daycare. Decided to give these a try after thinking about how cramped his feet seemed. The minute I put them on he was off running. He seemed to like them then, but in the days and weeks after, he doesn't even want to take them off all the way up to bedtime! It's a joy to see him confidently exploring all the spaces around, and no longer dealing with the protest of putting on shoes. Funny thing, at daycare, sometimes he puts up a fight about taking them off! They just let him nap with them on when he does that, ha! All that to say, very happy with the purchase. As to the quality, the mesh seems breathable, the sole has some thickness to it, but is very flexible. There is an insole that was in my opinion too thick, so I just took it out. Will likely be purchasing these again in a few months when he outgrows them(we got a size up, the straps make that very secure, and obviously hasn't bothered him at all, and we go on long walks at least a couple times a week)
