I decided to purchase this monitor despite initial skepticism due to it being a smaller brand. However, the price point, coupled with my goal of finding a monitor capable of 300 FPS and 1440p for under $400, was tempting. Many well-known brands were either too expensive or lacked certain specifications. This monitor, however, met all my requirements and functions flawlessly for me. While I have seen some complaints about brightness and backlighting, I personally find the display quality excellent. It represents a significant upgrade from my previous monitor. The only minor drawback is the built-in crosshair, which is quite small and sometimes difficult to see. Although it may suit games like Valorant or CS:GO, I primarily play competitive eSports titles such as Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Overwatch 2. I usually prefer using an overlay on top of the game’s crosshair, but the small size of this monitor’s crosshair is not a major issue to the quality, it is more of a personal preference. Overall, I am very satisfied with this monitor. I paired this with a RTX 5070 TI, and it works exceptionally well with it. The response time is incredibly fast, and everything feels instantaneous. The monitor also features RGB lighting in the back, which can be customized through the monitor settings. The HDR quality is impressive, and I rate this monitor a perfect 10 out of 10. Considering the price, it is undoubtedly a worth it. I purchased it for $214, which, with taxes, totaled $230. This is a reasonable price, and I am likely to purchase another monitor from this brand, possibly an upgraded version. I highly recommend this monitor; it is a great value. Assembly was straightforward, almost effortless, and the monitor is highly adjustable, allowing for vertical movement, tilting, and turning. It offers excellent versatility.

The media could not be loaded. I was a little skeptical because of the brand and price, similar ones were at least a hundred or two more dollars for the same specs, but I’ve spent some time gaming/browsing/editing with this monitor and it has been awesome. The backside is a nice light grey, looks super clean. The left monitor is the KYC 27inch 1440p 300hz, the right is an ASUS ProArt 27inch 1440p for color grading. The ASUS comes color calibrated from factory for Rec709 so the KTC monitor is a little cooler out of the box, but for gaming there’s no issue. It wouldn’t be a problem for the normal gamer at all. Super easy to set up, nice clean port area in the back also. Have not had any issues with setting up display or anything with the KTC, it seems fantastic. It doesn’t seem to have speakers, tho, but that usually isnt an issue for most. If it lasts, this will be one of the best bang for buck 1440p monitors over 240hz you can find anywhere. I will update review if anything happens, but if you’re considering this monitor I would say it’s awesome, pick it up!

I want to emphasize that when viewed straight on and actually displaying bright visuals in games, this monitor looks great. Most of my eye strain occurred when trying to look at the dark modes on websites or viewing poorly-lit video, making it unsuitable for me as a daily driver. Blacks and dark grays, to my eyes, have an unpleasant green/emerald hue to them. After trying to get my eyes to adjust for a month, I decided it just wasn't worth the grief and returned mine, but I think I'm more sensitive to this kind of thing than the average person. Otherwise, this has beautiful saturated colors, a high-quality stand, good brightness, no noticeable backlight bleed, and worked without a hitch with Gsync. The viewing angles also disappointed me a bit and images took on that same emerald hue if viewed from more than a slight angle. I probably would have killed for this monitor about 5 years ago, but in the year 2025 with affordable screen technology beyond IPS on the horizon, I've elected to save my money for something better. Also, I should mention that the LEDs on the back can only be turned to three colors (red, green, blue, or crossfade), so if you're getting this to match some specific color theme setup it's not going to work. I tried to get it to work with SignalRGB, but no dice.

The media could not be loaded. At first, I really loved this monitor—the picture quality and performance were great. But after only about two months of use, it started glitching badly, and unfortunately, the issue has only gotten worse over time. It’s really disappointing to have this happen so quickly, especially since I had high expectations. I’ve attached a video to show exactly whatit looked like at first and what the glitch looks like now. If anyone has suggestions for a reliable monitor, I’d really appreciate the recommendations.

I bought this KTC 27” monitor for my son and he’s very happy with it. The screen is clear, the colors look good, and it works great for his gaming and everyday use. Setup was quick and easy as well. Overall, a really good monitor for the price.

Monitor is great super responsive and very smooth. It's easy to setup and connect and using the 300hertz refresh rate is buttery smooth. Worth the price it's better than other higher end brands I've had. I use a 5080 and I can max out the refresh rate at 1440p on most games. It also looks great and fits white PC builds.

Bright, colorful with HDR capability, 300Hz refresh rate. Easy assembly. Plugged it in, started playing my game. In a few minutes, screen went completely blank. Backlit was on, but no picture at all - not even monitor's own menu! Had to restart to get it to work again. Same thing kept happening for 2 days every now & then.
