I bought this engine thinking that it would be a good quality but it's not it is cheap Chinese metal I had problems with turning it over it would not start I turned it over with the air ratchet and it ended up rounding the spindle inventing the crankshaft on the threads ended up having to retap. If you really want a motorbike kit by a very expensive well-made engine not some cheap engine cuz it's not made of good quality and you'll need a new spark plug because the one they give you doesn't burn hot enough to start it. Please don't waste your money like I did it's not worth it and don't make the same mistake I did ... show more

    • Needs a lot of work, but fun and rewarding when it runs

Came with a bad spark plug, I needed to widen the gap in it to get it to work. The chain tensioner it came with did not work on my frame and I had to spend $10 to get a tensioner that mounts onto the engine. I needed to buy a chain breaker to get the chain to fit. This isn't a normal bike chain, it's thicker and wider and meant for motors. The engine mount was too small for my frame, but luckily the seller shipped me a larger mounting bracket for free. The customer service is good. it took a lot of work and trouble shooting to get it to work, but for such a cheap price its rewarding to have a functioning bike instead of spending $500+ on an ebike Feels dangerous, but more importantly, fun. ... show more

It's easy to assemble and alot of fun to ride the only thing I found to be an inconvenience was that I had to buy a chain break but that's ok atleast I now own a chain break!

This kit is a spitting image to the Firestorm Zeda 80 that I purchaced from bicycle-engines.com. It is $100 less and I can not tell the difference in looks or in proformance. It is one of the better china doll kits on Amazon.
