    • More playing potential than I realized

First off you must have technical ability to set the guitar up. I replaced the nut with a tusq for a Gibson. I got the neck straight and checked for high frets then used a fret hammer first to seat them. Then did minimal leveling polishing and crown. I replaced the trapeze with a mojotone nickel ES type, I threw some Epiphone pro humbucker pickups in and will change them for classic 57s and a retro wiring harness and some flat wound nickel 11-57s to get that bebop sound for a very low price. All in all the challenge of perfecting a mass produced good looking guitar and hearing the results is the fun. I may buy a few more! ... show more

    • More than I expected for $115.
Color: Purple
Arrived after a week and was packaged nicely. Decent gig bag. Guitar was really nice at this price point but anyone that buys these guitars are going to have to do a setup. After setting it up and new strings it plays much better than I thought it would.

    • I bought the wrong guitar!

I really wanted this guitar to be a keeper. When compared to my "Firefly" one could really see the difference in the construction quality of the two guitars. The black Ktaxan (Glarry) guitar's f-holes were trimmed in white that was jagged in spots. The truss rod cover was mounted very much off center. At the base of the neck where it is situated into the body, on both sides of the neck it was plain to see that it had not been sanded very well before the paint was applied. Loose nut Cracked neck binding Crack on side of neck from 1st to 4th fret Touch up paint has been applied near nut which means this happened at the factory? It was brown sunburst finish..not wine red as stated above.When I get the replacement I will update the review.
