  • Not bad at all. A little snug until you break them in
Size: 10 Color: Grey
The media could not be loaded. I was very skeptical when ordering them because of size variations, but I read all the reviews and I went ahead and got them. I ordered a 10 which is typically what I wear. They do seem very slim in the tip and kind of squish my toes down. Hopefully once I break them in they will become more comfortable to wear. Other than that the quality seems very nice, the padding in the inside is very nice. Edit: I’ve been wearing them all day and they are becoming more and more comfortable. I think I just needed to stretch them out a little. ... show more

  • I’ve worn more comfortable shoes on hikes
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Camouflage
I like the way the shoes look and the reflective strips. I also like the tread which grips well on rocky wet terrain. When I put them on at home I thought there were as comfortable as bedroom slippers. I went for a 7.5 mile hike in these and after about 2 miles, I found that the balls of my feet started to feel as if I was getting a large blister. I tightened the laces, and this helped some, but my feet were pretty sore for most of the hike. I also found that in that area it felt as though the soles were a little bit thin and any rock that I stepped on seemed to go almost right through to my feet. I’m going to get a set of inserts to see if that helps with Comfort, but right now I would say these are not the best trail running or hiking shoes I’ve seen. I should mention that when I got home and took off the shoes. I did not have a blister, it was just simply that the bottom of my feet were sore. I should also say that I only broke these in for about an hour before going on a hike so it is possible that the second hike will be better. ... show more

  • Comfortable
I ordered 91/2 Xtra wide because I have wide feet. It fits great, and very comfortable. I use it to play golf and it's the same color as my golf ball. Pretty cool

  • Super Cross Trainers
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Grey
Really look good and feel good during gym workouts. The high back on the left shoe is annoying but I suspect after a few times it will soften. Really great at this price.

  • NOT GOOD for Spartan Races. get what you pay for.
Size: 9.5 Color: Camouflage
I bought these with the intention of using them for a Spartan Beast. For reference, I am primarily a road runner, and never buy off brand/cheap shoes for running (I use Brooks & New Balance, pricy but they work for me.). I usually use some old sneakers for my OCR races (I'm a Spartan Race vet of many Sprints and Supers), but since this was my first Beast (13 miles), I wanted to try some new trail shoes for this endeavor. Bad Idea I used the shoes for the first time the day of the race, which being a veteran of running is almost always a bad idea but I took a gamble. If old beat up runners worked in the past, why wouldn't these? I made my way up the hill to the start line and immediately rolled my right ankle. mind you I hadn't even BEGUN the race and I already had tweaked my ankle. I was worried because I'd never really done this before with running or doing any sort of activity but just chalked it up to being on rough terrain. So eventually I started the race and it only got worse from there. The shoes were very loose and I had lots of room which was making things shaky. It wasn't until I got to mile two of the race hiking up the mountain when I rolled my ankle badly again to where the bottom sole of the shoe was visible when I looked down. I was 2 miles in and still had 12 miles to go of hiking and running up a mountain and finishing obstacles. I couldn't even run on it and walking was a stretch. It was ugly and I was out there for seven and a half hours but I pretty much dragged myself to the finish. As for traction and running in these they were not that great, they got stuck with mud and became completely water lodged and were very heavy to run around with. Most trail shoes tout themselves as being easily drainable, but these shoes were the total opposite and held on to all the dirt and mud you could possibly think of. As I said, I ended up finishing the race and lucky for me I only sustained a mild grade one ankle sprain which kept me out of action for about a week, after which I was able to return to running/training as normal. Now do I think it was a smart idea for me to wear these the first and only time I use them the day of the race? No but I am glad that I didn't wrench my ankle trying them on and going for a run in them before the race and would have had to miss it. Perhaps these shoes are good for someone who just wants a cheap pair for working around outside or doing some light walking but my personal opinion as a veteran runner is to never go cheap on things that stand between your body and the ground. I took that gamble and I paid for it, I made a mistake and paid $43 for these shoes and sprained my ankle for the first time ever. If you're looking to use these for a Spartan Race I would definitely not recommend them, and I implore you to spend a little bit more money on higher end Brands like Hoka or New Balance. Yes you'll end up paying more money but for peace of mind and sustainability it is so much more worth it. I don't think these shoes are inherently bad and Amazon refunded me without asking for a return, but for my level of activity you will definitely get what you pay for and in this case by going cheap you will end up with results you may not like. I do not advise buying these if you're looking for something to use in a Spartan Race or anything of the like. ... show more
