This is a very light duty kit suitable only for minor tinkering and repair or picture hanging. The screwdrivers and bit are great. It is only a 10ft measuring tape, graduated in inches and centimeters. The low profile transparent top case is nice, as is the level. I tossed out the cheesy box knife and added a good utility knife and tacking hammer, a few odd screws and small nails. My tool chest is two stories downstairs so was looking for a small tool kit for my desk. I opened this and thought what a nice box and what a perfect small sized took kit. The tools are certainly most adequate quality for occasional use. There is a complete set of screw bits, the screw driver nicely holds a screw bit, and the tape shows both inches and millimeters. The small flat-head and Phillips screw drivers are very good and the level is designed for horizontal, vertical, or angular usage Then I realized there are no pliers. I have wracked my brain, but rarely do I ever have a tool task that does not require pliers. This is a good starter tool set but you are really will need to add a pair of both regular and needle nose pliers. ... show more

I ordered this item because as a DIYer you find that for most tasks requiring tools, you need the same basic set of tools and so it's nice to have a small kit like this that you can have conveniently at hand with maybe one or two other tools rather then have to go to your workshop and collect the tools you need or grab a larger kit that has much more then you need. ... show more

I am a big DIYer and have a lot tools. I decided to get my son a “starter set” of tools and this is perfect for him. While these are all hand tools its a pretty good set. All of them are pretty solid especially considering the price for just a tape measure can be $20 by itself. For $14, this is a pretty good deal. This would be a good set for anyone who needs to put furniture together and maybe lives in an apartment where there is limited space for tools. ... show more
