These wear in pretty quickly so I needed to tighten the laces at the bridge of my foot as they did. This adjustablility is great, and I am very thankful I didn't get the cheaper shoes that are velcro or laces without a tongue. These are incredibly lightweight and since I don't like a ton of slide, these were just the right smoothness for me right out of the box. If they stick for your style, you may need to smooth them on carpet for a bit to get the slide you want. They have a decent arch especially after you wear them a bit, so be sure to tighten the laces to get your foot in the perfect placement if it bothers you any. ... show more

I bought a size 10; I usually wear 10.5/42. Was nervous when the box arrived and said 10/40 but they actually fit me okay! My only complaint is that they put a sliding sole on both shoes, which makes the non-sliding foot very slippery, as I learned the first time I bowled with them. My men's shoes in this brand are specifically right-handed and SO much better. It's lame when manufacturers don't take the time & money to make bowling shoes right or left handed (hence the 4 stars, not 5). I know of nothing I can put on the right shoe to stop it from sliding. Yes, I know they say you can scuff them up, but that never works. Otherwise, these are a nice lightweight, comfortable, sporty-looking gold/black shoe; great for summer. Maybe I can put some glue on the bottom, I wish I knew. Really makes my throw off, to slide around on both feet, so I doubt I'll use them for league, just for practice. A little pricey. ... show more
