I haven't assembled anything yet, but if you're one of those folks who didn't get any instructions, here they are. I ordered 2 sets of 25 and only one had these instructions. Also has the counts of how many of each component is included. Contrary to what the folks who answered my question said, those counts are not available anywhere in the product listing. Was really on edge with some of these reviews but this thing is awesome! Bought 2 of the 25 packs and they work together. Came with instructions, nothing missing, nothing damaged and for a massive piece like this only took about 2 hours. Love the way you can customize and suuuuper sturdy. Also love that you can leave some pieces out for larger items. Overall 5 stars π

Despite the assembly instructions, the pieces don't see standardized. After several pieces are joined, there start to be sections that have a half inch gap and no amount of hammering and re-aligning can get them to line up. it seems like the shelves and the back pieces that should be the same width aren't. But somehow this does not seem to impact stability at all. After joining them as much as possibly, the thing can hold an incredible amount of weight. Each shelf sags a bit, but that almost seems to pull the rest together tighter. It seems to hold no matter how much my eyes tell me it should fall apart.

This is the third time I bought the product and its a good product easy to build and good for the price. However this last time I got the 70x70 and they sent too few of the wire frames that make the bottom piece of the cube and majority of them where curved. So that made it slightly difficult to build up. And unfortunately they also did not sent enough of the connector pieces so I have spare frames, and due to missing the wire frames (the only reason I buy this item) I had to build a couple of the cubes with the patterned design pieces as the bottom of the cube and to be honest I don't trust them to carry any weight. So this is the last time I buy this item. The quality of the items seem to be dropping and less care with what is be sent out. It is still a fair good product for the price but it appears to becoming a buy at risk item and one I would not recommend anymore.

Overall, I got what I needed out of the cubes (new bookshelf and place to store other things by my desk), but one specific cube just...the corner didn't work? I put a few books on it and it collapsed, rendering one column unusable due to fears of stability. My husband tried to put it back together and it just...wasn't sturdy enough for either of us to feel safe putting anything more than a little pillow on there.

My husband was skeptical of this unit when it arrived, thinking it would be cheap and wobbly. SO NOT THE CASE! The panels come with these really cool connectors and a cute little hammer. The panels slide right into the connectors and with just a few taps of the hammer, these shelves aren't going anywhere. The space where I put it is a little odd, but I was able to configure it so that it fits perfectly, with shelves going up a bit higher on one side where I have more wall height. I have a knitting business and I use the unit to store my yarn collection. I don't know how it will hold up with heavier items, but for me, it's just perfect. Great customer service too.
