although I really do enjoy the product, I was not sent all of the pieces that are required to assemble. The box came with a note explaining that they were a small company and wanted to have excellent customer service and make sure that everything is right, so I was excited about that and decided to email them. I never got an email back and had to buy the pieces separately on Amazon.It seems like it will work perfectly for my sewing fabrics and materials because I wanted something that I can see through but I do not like those plastic organizers. I’m still awaiting my extra package of black connector pieces that I had to pay an additional eight or so dollars for to come in the mail today. As for installation, i was very excited that it was quite simple. I am terrible at putting things together. my only complaint was that the instructions were not helpful at all. But most normal human beings can probably just intuitively out this together. my only suggestion is to make sure you do not put the black connectors on the wrong direction because it is not fun to take the whole thing apart and redo. They fit on multiple different ways!

I ordered this storage unit because the IKEA storage I wanted was out of stock, and I did not want to wait to get organized. This arrived quickly. The box it arrived in was barely large enough to hold the pieces and someone left his or her glove in the box. It was fairly easy to assemble and came with good instructions and a mallet hammer which was helpful. I am unfortunately missing some pieces and unable to configure the unit as 16 cubes as shown but I have contacted the seller and anticipate they will send me the rest of the parts. I was missing some connectors and doors. Doors are not a big deal as I don’t plan to use them on every cube. I selected this unit because the size of 14 x 14 would allow me to fit my scrapbooks and other 12x12 items. Once assembled, the configuration of the connector actually takes up about half an inch on the corners of the cube. So you can get a 12 x 12 item in the cube but not with the same amount of space around it as expected from the description. It seems pretty sturdy. The photo shows that it holds 30 lbs per cube but now that I have the unit, I am wondering if that is only for the black grid sections. The bottom level of the unit does not have the black grid sections on the bottom of the cube, so it may not hold that much in those cubes even though the picture clearly says each cube can hold 30 lbs. The description says each cube is designed with “strengthen steel panel at the bottom of the cube” but they did not send steel panels for the bottom row. It is also not configured to have the black grid section on the top of the unit so you may not be able to place anything heavy on top either. I am concerned that over time pulling items in and out in the white plastic may scratch this material. Time will tell if I will regret not waiting for the IKEA unit to be available. It does say there is a two year warranty so if I have a problem I hope the warranty will cover it.

Este tablillero lo compré para organizar mis telas. Resulta que la unión no es robusta por lo cual tiende con el peso a desunirse. Como de todos modos me cupo donde lo quería, lo que hice fue reforzar las uniones con amarras plásticas y quedó de show. Ahora aguanta muy bien el peso y mis telas no se llenan de polvo. Además, estéticamente hablando se ve super lindo en mi cuarto de costura. Por eso le di testrellas.

I bought this product with the intention of making 2 8-Cube sections. What I didn't take into account was that by building these separately I would be using more panels and connectors than if I had made a full 16 - cube shelf. I suppose that's on me for not thinking like an engineer but I can't help but think if they had included more connectors and panels I could have made this exactly how I wanted. If I had thought about it I would have just ordered two eight Cube units I just thought I was being smart obviously I was wrong. Either way, it was easy to assemble and should be perfect for organizing my craft supplies, but I'm only giving 4 stars because obviously this isn't as modular as i envisioned. Picured are my alternative solution (leaving top 2 units open) and the parts left over. To be truly modular they could have included 10 more connectors and 4 more panels... But whatever. It's good for the money. Seems sturdy. Easy to build.

Soy husband had bought the wire version of these shelves previously, so I knew how to set them up at least. The only reason I feel it's a bit hard to put together is simply due to the fact that on a good day I might weight 115lbs and I really don't have much strength. There were 4 wire panels missing, however we had some from our other set that I can use with it, it's likelyy set just didn't get the right amount. I had the right amount of doors and plastic panels at least. I ordered this because I needed somewhere for clothing storage, my dresser isn't super big and while it's split between me and my husband, his half was uniforms, and this set allows me to have somewhere to put his regular clothes and the rest of mine. I might order another even though pieces were missing, because I do like how they look and the ability to organize everything is definitely worth it.
