The stars given to this product don't reflect its quality because the first question was about sheerness. If I give it 5 stars for that, it feels like I'm saying they are very sheer, but they aren't. They're just sheer enough to see someone is at your door, but you can't make out their features, and they can't make out yours. Light comes through beautifully, but vision does not. I’m so happy with the color! I had purchased some blackout curtains for my living room from a different brand and I was having a difficult time finding a matching curtain for my patio door. The color of my living room curtains are called “flaxen”. It’s a creamy oatmeal color with bits of grey. They look like a natural fabric with a slight texture. My patio door is metal with a large glass panel in the center. I needed two magnetic curtain rods (top and bottom) and a curtain that had both top and bottom curtain rod pockets. I really didn’t want anything frilly on top as I’m going for a more modern look over of country chic. Needless to say I was finding it pretty impossible to find what I needed. The glass panel in the door is about 68” and the width was 24”. I thought I had found a curtain that would work but once it arrived it looked so cheap! The color has been listed as “cream” but it looked like the old fashion yellow vanilla ice cream color. It was horrible! So I started looking again. Thankfully I finally found this brand!!! I was a bit nervous as to which color looked the most similar to my living room curtains but I did my best. I was torn between Linen and Natural but I decided to go with Linen in the end. I’m so happy I did!!! They match my living room curtain perfectly! The only difference is that this curtain is not a blackout curtain. That said, it’s not very sheer either. It’s a great mix. It blocks out the sun but I can still see outlines outside. When I’m outside however I can’t see into my house at all which I love! The fabric doesn’t look cheap at all! The curtain did arrive a bit wrinkled by the folds for shipping but steaming it helped to smooth those out. I’m so happy I didn’t settle for the first curtain I tried or just gave up before finding this one. Every time I look at my patio door I get so happy because it’s absolutely everything I wanted and needed!!! Now if this company could just make a 26 X 32 for my 1930’s glass paned front door I’d be ecstatic! ... show more

Some of the complaints I read was that this let some light through, however this is EXACTLY what I wanted. My sidelight views into the whole house, I didn't want someone peering in, but I didn't want to block the light completely as that defeats the whole point of a sidelight. This was sheer enough to let light through, and thick enough to obscure the sight into my house. Used with Magnetic Curtain Rods. Recommend! ... show more
