    • Hilariously Accurate
Wore it to a NASA/Space-Themed party outside. Thankfully it wasn't too hot but at least this has a built-in fan. It was on and plugged in for over 4 hours and ran just fine on a couple of AA batteries even though we brought extra just in case it died. It makes swooshy sounds and the elastic is a tad tight around the neck, but everything has to be tight to keep the air in it. If you need an easy costume for not a lot of money, this one is pretty great. The alien feet do not stay over the human feet, so you may want to consider attaching some velcro to the top of whatever shoe you plan to wear just to keep the illusion "real" and not have alien foot-fabric flopped to the side. This costume is great but it had some things that could be added or improved. - Battery life last about 2-5 hrs I used Energizer Lithium batteries 4x AA - When machine turned off, it can get very hot. So bring extra batteries - Has one pocket, should add another. - Material feels thin like it can tear. Overall this Costume was out of this world that kids surely loved. ... show more

When I saw this costume on Amazon, I just knew that I had to have it for Halloween even though it was only May. Over the years, I have a hard time finding costumes that I like and this one just hit the mark. It is creative and fun not just for the wearer, but for others too. So far, my family has gotten a good laugh and gives the wearer an opportunity to have fun acting out quick alien abduction scenes. I can't wait until Halloween to entertain party-goers and trick or treaters. I'm 5'11" and 180 lbs and it fits well. One more thing, I like the fact that it is open-faced for the wearer. It gives me an opportunity to wear a creative costume yet eliminated the need to use a mask or makeup. So it is a clean and comfortable walk away at the end of the night. Also, the open face does not inhibit eating or drinking at the party which has always been a negative in wearing a mask. This costume was/is FANTASTIC.... The kids loved it... my hubby wore it well and Oh my ... it was a great time for the Halloween Party. The costume is very comfortable... Hubby is 6'1 an 180 lbs and it has enough room for him to wear his sweatshirt in the cooler weather up camp. The auto fill was PRICELESS!!! and didn't leak air... lasted all night. Great item...     • We had a group of 7 aliens and had a blast!!!
I was the last alien in a line of 7 at a bluegrass music festival. We decided to walk up the path to main stage in a single file line and I have never laughed so hard in my life!!! It was July and hot so at first the constant air flow around your body which exits around you neck, ankles and wrists was quite nice but 30 minutes into us dancing and parading around the thing is just circulating hot air and now hot air is blowing out around your neck and face. Now I am still laughing at the entire scene when I realize the legs of my costume (which is like a parachute material) is now sticking to my sweaty legs and forcing me to waddle!!! WADDLE! Now I'm dieing of laughter! We make as quick of a run as was physically possible to get back to camp to get these things off that now feel our own personal saunas! I highly recommend them! We had a blast and were stopped several times for photos! The only other downside is sometimes the battery packs and fan/air intake fall off but after a quick snap back together they kept working! #campmotherfuckinfuckyeah ... show more
