The plastic seems sturdy enough. I haven't had anything to frost lately so I tested these with some whipped cinnamon sugar butter and the plastic is pretty sturdy, what else can you ask for from a piping bag? Well, you could ask them to be a little bigger. These will be great for small detail jobs like working with royal icing, but if you have a large batch of cupcakes or a full sized cake to frost, you will have to refill it multiple times or use more than one. These would probably fit about a half a standard sized can of store bought (like Duncan Hines) frosting comfortably. ... show more

    • Decent bags, and cheap for the quantity
100 piping bags for less than $7 is quite a deal. These are decent bags, for standard icing, piping, etc. I don't believe they'd be heavy enough for choux pastry or heavier doughs, etc. I've only used 2 thus far, along with Ateco tips inserted, with buttercream and royal icing, and they worked fine (no explosions). ... show more
