Out of the box the fit and finish and magnetic flap/stand all feel very high quality. Without reading the manual (which wouldn't have helped anyway), I figured out how to plug it in and get it up and running in Windows 11. Pretty intuitive and well integrated process. My 13 inch HP spectre has 2 USB-c ports. This monitor also has 2 USB-c ports. A single cable between them will work with any pair of ports. however in that case the brightness is limited at 50% due to power limitation. By connecting the laptop charger to the Koorui monitor, and with a single USB-c cable leading back to the laptop, there's no longer any power limitation and I can get 100% brightness and 100% volume. The pleasant surprise for me was the single display cable, also *back charges* the laptop, although at a low wattage. I can leave the laptop in high performance mode, and the battery drains only very very slowly and can last at least 2 days. I bought two of these Koorui's, the second one used HDMI to mini HDMI with Windows 10, on an eight year old laptop. That also worked flawlessly. However, a second USB-c power source was needed to turn on the monitor at all (which it would do at full power), because HDMI doesn't deliver power. These Koorui monitor feel more comfortable to read than either of my laptops (one of which is a high end 4k screen). It has a matte finish and nice looking black to white transitions, making photos look very natural. I really like the colors and reading experience. The only downside I found was the manual. It repeats hazard warning in six languages, but doesn't tell you you need to hold down the power button for a few seconds to turn it on, because the power button doubles as menu and select button. The entire monitor settings UI is handled with only 3 buttons. It work well once you figure it out, but the "manual" doesn't have a single mention of any of this. Nor does it discuss compatibility and power requirements. Why try so hard at making a great product, but remain at such an amateur level writing the manual? That's the thing that bugged me. For gaming you only get 60hz refresh, so I haven't tried it for gaming and don't plan to use it that way. For remote learning and remote meetings, a highly portable second screen is a really nice thing to have. Overall for the extremely friendly price, I really appreciate being able to purchase this product.

Short version is that it is a great monitor, but only lasted 8 months before it stopped working. Customer service was good but not great. So we got this for my son for gaming. He loved it and it really did look great. But after only 8 months it started having issues. The monitor started showing these weird vertical lines on the screen then would only show a tiny sliver of the screen at the top. Then we tried hooking up an old TV for a duel monitor setup and we were then able to use it. But then it would start glitching. So we went through the process of contacting the seller about the issue. To their credit they didn't ask a ton a questions and were pretty quick to offer to send a new one once we shipped the old one back. The only problem was it cost $70 to ship because of the size of the box. So at that point I'm out $70 to get me "free" monitor to replace the $120 one that broke. The manufacturer said that they wouldn't cover the cost for shipping their broken monitor back to them especially since it was outside of Amazons 1 month return period. I pointed out that Amazons return policy should be irrelevant to how they handle their customers and pretty much said that's fine and I'll just leave a 1 star review and recommend people just buy elsewhere so you don't have to potentially buy this one twice. It was only then they offered to credit us $30 back to help cover the cost. So I get it, for all they know it was something we did that broke it and they were nice enough to replace it. But as an honest customer it was really frustrating to have your fairly new monitor break, have about a month with no monitor while we wait for this one to be replaced, and have to pay $70 to ship their broken monitor back to them.

The monitor itself was fine. The cables that was sent with the monitor never fit correctly. I haven’t had this product long, I have used it exactly the way it should be used, I used the cables that came with it, and now it won’t work. So I am not real happy with it.

This product is perfect for everything! Number one it’s graphics are GREAT! Two: to set up everything it was so easy!! It takes like 2 minutes and everything is set up. Three: it goes great with my GPU. The adjustability works perfect for my needs. I’m thinking about getting two more for my brother and dad for their birthday! I recommend you get this product !!

I would note that freesync caused some flickering when enabled (not sure if this is my system/ drivers or moniters fault) and the build quality is ok. It is mostly plastic though and lacks movement. The ghosting with OD on max setting isnt too bad and the response time is really good. The colors are decent for the price and it being a va panel Overall for 100$ its hard to beat, and 165 hz is not bad at all.

I have been using this product for two months nd im not only happy with it but shook by it due too it being knocked over three times by my cat from two feet with all the wires connected, stepped on by my 15 pound cat, and thrown around while attempting too set up and no issues or new problems. This is my first monitor nd pc so im not sure what are the normal expectations but i love a kinda pricy product that doesnt take any damage cause of my forever kid thats never going to pay bills ( my cat lols) or my silly butt haha
