I purchased these for the fashion factor. I did not realize the plush lining in the boot was a synthetic. I should have taken the time to better read the description. The return process was easy. I wanted the genuine fleece lining (which I later purchased the proper boot). Having said that, these ARE genuine UGG boots, they are simply the one's with the synthetic fleece. Love these boots! Comfort and style are awesome and they fit well. I always like to use suede protector/water repellent before rainy/snowy weather.
