The size was perfect. Lots of accessories (binoculars, pistol, play radio, hand grenade, etc). Costume came complete with shirt, pants, belt, and cap. Wonderful birthday gift for an eight year old boy.

The part my son was most excited about, the machine gun, was absolutely broken and hanging on by a tiny piece of plastic. The rest of the costume is fine by the whole thing isn't worth the $46.

I joked with my wife that apparently even toy AKs are cheaper to make! that said, each of these pieces is nice. The pistol is a great little double action and the AK has a fun pull back feature that winds up a sound maker for when you pull the trigger. the rest of it has good clips and scheathes that makes for a full kit. This solider costume came just about as described. Size wise I ordered based of their measurement chart and the fit is great. The pants are alittle loose and the shirt sleeves a bit longer but it's not anything a few tucks can't fix(I rolled the sleeve cuffs once after buttoning and they're perfect). My son didn't want to stand still long enough for great pictures of course. All the accessories are smaller than I was expecting aside from the glasses. ... show more

This is a great costume set. It comes with a ton of accessories for play. The only thing missing is enough holders/storage for all of the pieces. The knife doesn't come cleanly out of the holster when it is clipped to a belt. You have to hold it with one hand and then pull the knife out with the other.
