I haven't fully stress tested these. The chains are a little long, but are easily shortened(even with a pair of electrical strippers). As with most ball chains, I've tried to pull them apart by hand. Haven't succeeded yet. The colors are fairly vibrant. Just a bit "off" in the shades to my eyes. That of course could be the coloring process for metals, the pigments used, or any other number of factors. The colors seem to be steadfast. As I said before, I have not fully stress tested them. Over all. Extremely satisfied with the value of this purchase. Edit 9/14/19: Well, the paint flakes off fairly easy. Also, the clasps that hold the captive bead together, is a bit loose on the ones I've tested. So I've had it disconnect once while wearing it. I would "squish" the clasp to make the connection a little bit tighter. But, I've done that before and ended up making it so I couldn't disconnect the clasp. as soon as I put the pendant on the paint started flaking off and within 2 days all but a few spots were gone. i wore it to test before I used them for necklaces I was going to sell. glad I thought to test them because that would have been super embarrassing. complete waste of money.

These aren’t meant to be sturdy or durable but for what they are meant for they do a good job. The paint in them comes off easily and break easy which is good if you are wearing as a necklace and it gets hung on something. Rather it break than my neck.
