Very heavy duty. I grill weekly 10 months out of the year. Removes all the food bits stuck to the grill grates easily. After using I rinse it with the sink sprayer and then run it through the dishwasher on the bottom rack. Still looks and functions as brand new. I highly recommend!!

Had to buy a new grill brush as my old ones were very worn out. Decided to try the Kona style with the coiled bristles. Seemed to make sense. Bought two as I normally wear one out every summer. These are nice brushes. Very sturdy, well constructed. Long handle so you don’t have your hand over the hot grill. Clean very well. My old brush was a normal bristle brush and it was worn out. But, I was still surprised how well this brush cleaned the grill. It seems to get cleaner each time I use this brush. I do dip it in water as recommended. And always with the grill hot. It does take a bit of “elbow grease”, but I think that is normal when cleaning a grill. Works well. I think one brush may last beyond the summer, but nice to have a spare. Would recommend and will buy again.

If the spacing of the coils matches the spacing of the grill grates it works reasonably well. If the match is poor it's useless. The coils are rigid so no flex to adapt to different spacing. It works on one of my grills but not the other.

It's just ok for cleaning, but it is safer. Doesn't clean and cut through the stuck on stuff as well as a bristle wire brush does. It wants to just slide over the stuck on stuff on the grill. Heavy duty for sure.
