I bought these to take to Croatia. We had planned to do some water activity, and I had read how the beaches were rocky. These were fantastic. They were comfortable for me to wear for the FIRST time, alllll day in and mostly out of the water as we toured different islands. They're cushy and pretty nice looking too. They aren't necessarily a supportive shoe, however, I felt I did have some support in them as well. I'm excited to have them to take on our next trip to Montana for water tubing down the river as well. I think for the price, they're fantastic!!! Great purchase!

I purchased these for a trip to Costa Rica as I knew I would be hiking through a lot of water. I brought them in place of my regular walking shoes and they were comfortable enough, but didn't have quite enough arch support for me (I have very high arches). My main issue was that they stayed wet the entire trip. I set them out to dry and skipped wearing them a few days hoping they would dry out and they didn't. After a few days they were mostly dry, but still not completely dry. Everyone else's water shoes were drying out very quickly (they had a different brand/type than these) so I know it wasn't just the environment or some factor like that. Fortunately, our last rental had a dryer available and I popped them in for a bit and they were fine. Also, once they got wet, the back of the left shoe started rubbing against my heel and caused a blister. The right shoe had a perfect fit and didn't move around at all. But because it never dried, the rubbing against my heel was very irritating. Had it dried quickly, I don't think it would have been so irritating. I don't think I will use these again for a trip like that.

The only problem I have with support is that the sides may stretch out with continued wear. I like that these calm colors can be worn with jeans in the fall and spring as well. Wondering if because of the holes on the bottom, these qualify as grounding shoes, too.
