I sing in a choir, and face the challenge of being able to follow the music score while at the same time keeping eye contact with our choir director. These half-moon readers are perfect for that. I can easily read, yet distance vision is not obscured. Excellent value for money.

When these arrived, I was concerned because of the poor packaging. Each set of glasses was inserted into in a soft case, and they were shipped in a soft envelope. That clearly didn’t make sense to me, I mean, come on, these are eyeglasses being shipped in the midst of hundreds of other packages on a truck! That said, I can’t say enough good about these readers. I have 8-10 pair now (I lost count) in all the colors! I pair had an unevenly set nosepiece, which I returned. After my cataract surgery, I still needed something for reading. I’ve always been sort of a frame snob, so my search for cute or fun frames led me to order several readers, on the hunt for the best ones. Most of those, I’ve returned for various reasons. These half-frame readers fit my criteria perfectly. The comfort level is great, giving me a comfortable feel. They are very light weight, and surprisingly durable. The lenses are nice and clear, unlike some that come with cheap plastic that gives me a headache. The frame colors are really nice, I have them all except the orange and yellow ones (different sellers sometimes offer different color choices) Having no frame at the top of the lens is perfect for watching TV while having your phone in your lap. They rest midway down your nose, so you can easily watch tv without an annoying frame hitting at your line of sight. Going to the grocery store with these readers allows me to read labels without taking readers on and off aff through the shopping experience which makes shopping so much easier. I like the hinges. The half moon glasses are larger than expected, FWIW. Magnification is true. One pair has a nose pad installed upside down: I was able to twist it to make it functional, but it's not quality assembly. The Naugahyde cases are nice.
